1st Mainline Steam Outings Of The 2023 Season

In our 1st mainline steam video of 2023 we have extensive footage over a 4 day period seeing Locomotive Services Group's B1 61306 Mayflower on crew training runs on the Crewe-Chester-Shrewsbury-Telford-Stafford circuit basically the Crewe 5A circle.
Despite the rain during the week especially on the 1st 2 days I got away with it with the rain holding off but I pulled it off.
We mostly feature Mayflower in action in the Cheshire & Shropshire regions. I was hoping for a shot within Wales but due to poor weather conditions & strong winds on the Thursday it was scrapped.
The crew training runs were on as Locomotive Services Group has brought in new footplate crews for steam over the last few months & these runs were perfect to help them familiarize themselves with the locomotives with the Crewe 5A steam fleet in readiness for the start of the 2023 season for both Saphos & Steam Dreams within the Crewe 5A organization.
Notice as well during these runs different codes & headboards the 1st 2 days having Saphos Trains's headboard & Day 3 having The North Wales Coast Express headboard in Express headlamp code while the last day had an empty stock headlamp code.
