As a side note she also does her own original material as well but touring as a tribute allows them to make a living with music and the LRE has been really growing. Honestly the entire band are all super people, we've seen them several times and will in the future. I'm usually the guy running around with a big lens trying to capture them as best I can. Fifty years just went by and I am attending a Linda Ronstadt in Manhattan, totally enthralled by the amazing big voice and musicality of Linda! My favorite of all time. And wow, she's as beautiful too and should I dare say it.......even more beautiful than Linda Ronstadt. Hope you come to the NYC tri-state area and I'm there! Linda's concerts always had reverb to enhance that golden voice. Just a tip.
2021 Mayor's Summer Concert featuring Tristan McIntosh, June 30, 2021 ***Check this show out. She is impressive. She brings to mind some of my very favorites. Not only Linda but Paula Cole, and Karla Bonoff. This voice....is a very good voice!!
She's still just starting her life and career, she also did a show with her own songs we enjoyed this year. Sometimes things happen for a reason and I think she has a very bright future with or without an Idol signing.
I think some funny business was going on with Idol. I also believe Idol messed up on her songs in the order she was supposed to perform which also was her last time. Tristan should have won and we hear that over and over.
Totally agree, wish I'd gotten a board mix. I didn't realize my mic would pick up the drums so much when I recorded it and when I got home realized. Shared it anyways because it was a good memory. They do a pretty big tour, check them out live, a fun and friendly bunch.
WE were all in love with Linda back in the day, her voice was powerful and clear, she picked great songs and inhabited them as though they were her own, and her youth and beauty could melt your heart. When you turn those beautiful browns toward the camera, I feel like I'm right back in those days, and your vocals uphold the experience! Will check out your other work!
Great singing with a look and sound of LR herself, and with band all deserve the credit they do and should receive. And looks like a great setting for gig with enough room for the drums to breathe, which is not always so easy to achieve. Wonderful to have bands like this who can so skillfully reproduce the sound of some of the wonderful artists of years gone by, to let younger and older generations alike enjoy. Fantastic! Love this band!
it's good to hear the songs by different artists that Linda Rondstad had sung. Here too you have to note that the extremely high level that Linda sang at the time, is almost impossible to achieve by other artists. But still nice to hear all these beautiful songs.
Great to hear All That You Dream (one of my all time favs by Linda), Carmelita, etc. - . I like that Tristan often performs some of Linda's lesser known but still good tunes. Look into Roll 'Um Easy and Justine, two more good tunes. 👍

They're still touring around doing this show, you could be hypnotized in person :). Definitely worth checking out if they have a date near you and Tristan is really cool as a person too. The name of the show is the Linda Ronstadt Experience, she also does her own music but more of those shows are in and around Nashville.
I would love to collab with her we have similar voices and my my cousins just moved to Tennessee I would love to meet up when I go to visit them!!!! ❤️❤️🥰😇🙏

appreciate the post. The vocals were under the drums, and some instruments were buried. Next time put a cam in front of the stage toward the center. The mic will pick up better if that is the only sound source you are using. Love this singer. she captures Linda's excessive. The only thing missing is the "growl" Linda had in some of her vocal inflections.
yeah, my mistake with the mic placement, after I realized the drums were too strong it was too late to move it. I tried to capture the sound coming out of the stage monitors which is usually very good but didn't take into account how loud the drums would be hitting the mic directly. Live and learn.
Very good.......liked the Costello songs! His stuff isn't easy to do convincingly, need to have a bit of an edge. One small criticism. Guitars seemed a bit too soft, too quiet. Perhaps it is this recording. But overall, well done. 👍

@@ガビちゃん-w6s Clearly, the microphone on the device amplifies some frequencies. What I was (not clearly enough) referring to is the - not-so-good - playing of this drummer. Unmusical, inaccurate, a terrible pulse. He deserves a "reality check". Luckily, the bassist holds things together.
She has a good voice but in this video, her vocal is completely overwhelmed by the instrumentals. As a result, she sounded very weak. It's a shame bc she has tremendous vocal.

It's a memory and some family members of the band that couldn't be there were happy to be able to see the show albeit with less than ideal audio.
I know that you can't always expect the ideal location for Mike to record or phone cam for that matter. It's a live show designed for those attending and we're lucky to get what we get here viewing from afar!
Disappointed listening to this as she avoided 2 difficult songs that would really show off her Linda Ronstadt legacy “Long Long Time & Love Has No Pride .” My Wife really nails them both in Karaoke .
They actually do perform those two songs as part of their show sometimes. There's a list on the website of all the songs they cover. No way to fit them all , those just weren't part of tonight's set. I'd like to hear "Livin' in the USA" but that one isn't part of their catalog. I've heard her do Love has No Pride and Long Long Time at other shows. Tristan also has her own music, songs she's written but it's not part of this tribute.

To be fair it was my fault, I placed a mic too close to the drums not realizing it'd pick them up more than the monitors I was trying to record.
