Not dating on the ship I think is a good idea because there are so many variables, everyone comes from different places, and you are basically going to end up in something long distance if it continues past the ship, or you are willingly entering into a fling that you know will end at the end of the voyage which is tricky because people can catch feelings even if they don’t want to. It’s best to protect your heart and your space. Plus life is not all about boys, lol, you are on this grand voyage, it’s best to be in the moment and not distracted by dating someone.

I’ve wanted to do semester at sea for a few years but the financial realities are quite harsh specially for international students that cannot apply for most financial aid that is really focused on to american students
