Bluecoats doing one last rehearsal run through of, 'The Garden of Love' on 08/12/23. (Special thanks to Connor Yasuda for being out on the field capturing this on video)
These guys are the real deal. One of a kind, genuine, hard working, fun loving, world champions in a way that is specific to only these 19 guys and girls. The bloo bangers 💙🍁
Good lort the front to back and side to side ensemble responsibilities throughout are bananas. Thank you, Bloo. Thank you, camera man. 6th* season in a row my favorite show... and I'm a Regiment Alum.
@@gear9x166to my knowledge, at new housing sites there’s usually a designated crew that has to line a makeshift rehearsal field. they wake up earlier than most others and it seems like a lot of work 😅
@@gear9x166 most housing sites have grass fields with no lines painted that we use to rehearse on. There are assigned teams who take turns lining the field with paint early in the morning before rehearsals begin. Usually, this means you get very little to no sleep. One of the teams at the Bluecoats is made up of the basses and quads. Typically, rookie trumpet and guard members make up the other teams. Most of those who return for more than one year won’t end up doing it the following year minus some exceptions. Since the perc section is small, they bass and quad vets do it every year no matter what. It’s ain’t the most fun, but it’s honest work.
@@theevil_Dem0n not really, he is a vic artist they use innovative because the head percussion guy is tom rarick, carter is the battery caption head. not the head percussion guy, idk what the title is
Everyone say thank you to this man right now. THANK YOU!!

No one is better than Connor at cleaning beats AND taking cinematic videos.
Why was Seb's speech unironically inspirational and beautiful?
And why the HELL did the wind have to pick up so much right then?
I remember a time when I had to wait like 2-3 months after finals for the on field vid to drop… good work my man
seeing everybody hugging and crying at the end has me a little choked ngl
LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@TheBandit_67 you know what time it is 😎
@@awokendestiny9657 I'm editing the video tonight 🫡

That’s why I love these videos. They really depict what the performers have to deal with in order to achieve this level of greatness.

does anyone know what sticks the tenors are using?
Carters maybe
@@beaumartin366 definitely raricks. not a vic line
@@reesefleming1829 they look more like rennicks to me
Kinda confusing why Carter has a Vic signature and not IP

good recording but get a wind shield on your mic
It’s recorded on an iPhone. Sorry it couldn’t be better that day.
Also, we live in a world where you can pull of a recording of this level on your phone, wind be dammed.
