@@dylanseah2021 reality tv are well-known of generating these "coincidental" blunders. Some even edit out their footages to make it seem contestants are beefing with each other, but sometimes they just straight up create the beefs.

Watching Auditions
reality shows usually have 1-2 screenings before they reach this part of the audition, either they're good singers or their story/look is good for television
@@samabellaaa The early seasons of American Idol weren't typical reality shows. Litterly anyone could audition in front of the judges. The judges would usually stay for 3 days in the city and go through all the contestants. The best, worst, and funniest ones made it on to tv... There were no screenings
