Something I noticed watching this match for the 3rd time (I need to get a life), Bricio's serves seem to go to the same spot in Zone 6 almost every time. They get there super fast so I wouldn't want to be the person in middle back receiving one of them, but professional women volleyball players at this level should be able to handle them most of the time. I think Samy would get a lot more aces if she could serve more often to the outside shoulder of whomever is playing in zones 1 or 5. It's riskier, but I'm sure Bricio is super talented enough to make that happen consistently.

I think Bricio should be the setter’s go-to player. But many times she gives more balls to Fabris in the opposite side even when Bricio has a higher percentage of effectiveness. The setter plays really good though I hope Bricio gains her trust soon.
Chequen el segundo set en el puntaje, regresé el vídeo y no les pusieron el punto 14 al equipo d Kazan y en el primer set mucho problema en el reloj apuntador creo que también y hubo algo raro, saquenme de esa duda.
el kazan,el priemer set,lo empiesan frias,luego empiesan a encarrilarce a buen ritmo,espero que en la liga,ya esten mas sincronzadas,ahora se entiende,se van conociendo la forma de juego y tiempo de cada jugadora(esto referente a la colocadora,tiene que conocer,como juega mejor su compañera y ponerle la pelota en tiempo y distancia)para que sean mas efectivas..
I'm glad Ak Bars won and I hope Bricio's right index finger (the one with the huge bandage on it) is okay! For most of this match, up to literally the last minute of the 5th set, Proton Saratov really played more consistent, better team volleyball, and I was amazed how good their really tiny libero (#13 Doronichevva) was. But despite Ak Bars demonstrating some really poor communication on defense ("I thought you had it"..."oh I thought you had it") and some really bad decision-making on offense ("well I failed to score hitting the ball directly at their 3 blockers the last 4 times I tried it, so I'm just going to try the same thing again"), our women did manage to hang close and finally play up to their potential as a team by the very end of the 5th set. I think I bit all my fingernails off waiting for that to happen, but it did and I'm glad we won! Bricio played okay and kept the score close, but that wasn't close to the best I've ever seen Samantha Bricio play. Still she's gets my vote for the overall MVP of this match.
Very intense game. too many mistakes from the referees? Any way you won, congrats Kazan. As always Bricio is there for her team -USC, Imoco, the turkey one, Italy again and now Russia. Very proud of my two mexicans playing there.
