I love their reactions on the drop! Feels like ages before you level out the ground and traverse the layout. Filled the brim with ejector airtime and intense laterals.

@@BluePineappleCoasters Oh we love it. Every time we visit Carowinds (which is a lot) we have to do it. There's been quite a few days where it was so dead that we stayed on and rode twice in a row. Fabulous coaster!

some coasters don't look as fast in a video... this video makes this ride look EXACTLY how fast it is. 95mph! this ride kicks up! very smooth!

This was a official shoot of the park so all rules must be followed. The rest have been for media and public. Difference is this is most likely employees who can be released for not following the rules. You never see a official pic or vid with hands up.
Yes it a special guest. The reverse POV that are off to the side were done on the actual media day. This was done the day before media day.
Why would they make that bar so close to your head? Carowinds should've made that support longer, it sucks you cant put your hands up.
It's called a head chopper. It's a sort of "visual effect" to make you think you're gonna hit your hand or your head. It's never happened though & many coasters have them.

It's something called a head-chopper element...
It's meant you to give you the illusion that your head will get cut off, but you're perfectly safe! :)

it goes slower when the lines get huge in the summer
That theoretical ride time includes loading/unloading, time spent on the brake run and the slow turn back into the station.

Carowinds needs to require riders to wear safety glasses, especially on the front row.
They are not needed on Millennium Force, Intimidator 305, Leviathan, Top Thrill Dragster, or Kingda Ka. They are not needed on Fury 325.

The ride essentially feels like your surfing on a magic carpet. I was holding on myself. The drop feels limitless this video is nothing compared to how it actually feels.
There is no way a 7 foot person could put their hands up on this ride without breaking their arm/hand 😑

This ride looks awesome, but I don't like how the handlebars are. I prefer the handlebars that go over your head, like the Hulk ride at Universal.
