Welcome to San Marcos, Texas! We are located just north of San Antonio, New Braunfels, and south of Austin, Texas. This is a great location if you work in the city but are looking for small-town living. San Marcos is home of Texas State University and the Bobcat football and Bobcat baseball team. We also have the San Marcos Square which has farmers markets and great shops/restaurants! We can't do a video about San Marcos without highlighting the San Marcos River. This is one of the staples of the community giving families and students something to do year round.
