I am considering starting a filmmaking business because this is what I love but I am concerned on being too limited as a Muslim as there are so many things I am not willing to do. How do you manage finding projects matching your values and do you find a balance ?
Honestly, I’m still figuring it out 😅 I think I go by instinct by deciding to go for or decline a project that pretty obvious does or doesn’t align with my values. It does get harder when it blurs along the line. I think I’d just try to keep the right intentions and see how it would sit me.
There are many options now a days like Halal Beats & inshallah when money comes into the mix, you can hire a composer who can create non instrumental beats or just vocals to use.
