Don't care what anybody says about Elvis he still had that beautiful face and he has a great sense of humor chrisma and that strong and powerful voice I still love him
Elvis Presley is by far the best singer the world have seen. I say this: There's Elvis Presley then there's everybody else, There's Bruce Lee then there's everybody else, There's Michael Jordan then there's everybody else. Elvis Presley stands alone as being the best singer of all times, he had everything, the voice, the looks, the charisma, the personality, and most important of all, he had a heart of gold that he gave and gave to everybody that is in need. There will never be another man like him. When God created him, he made a special one for us to enjoy during his time on Earth. Elvis, you are truely missed.
this is the most tragic bittersweet performance I've seen to date. It's painful to see him in this condition but also so amazing to see how much his talent prevails.
He should have stopped performing if not for just a year or would have done wonders for his mind and his health because he had been constantly performing since he was like 18 nonstop because his managers and everyone treated him like he was a machine instead of a person and they had him on medication to put him to sleep at night and get him going in tje morning amd keep him going thrueout the day and I mean he was just used and abused in sooo many ways and it's sad
Elvis is so incredible. He is stuffed full of medication and can barely speak, but he delivers his song flawlessly. Many other interpreters can take a leaf out of their book.
He should have been hospitalized here in this condition, but when he starts to sing you can still here that he got some strenght left. RIP The King 💪💪💪
He was hospitalized 2 years before this concert various times throughout the years (1974-1975). Many of his entourage tried to get him to stop but he was already too addicted and there was no way for him to stop.
@@laughingbad i think his first serious health problem started right after Aloha Hawaii 1973, he began taking some down stuff that he havent taken before and was rush to the hospital several times. Elvis is the only singer I know of who was able to cross over to every musical genre .. back in the 60-70’s Everyone loves him.. he was a national treasure.. like no one else has ever been
In the book, "Revelations of the Memphis Mafia," Elvis' cousin, Billy Smith tells a story where Elvis was near comatose, not speaking but he had a show the next night somewhere, and they have IV's in him and are trying to get him around. The next night he still hasn't said a word, and he's at least moving around somewhat now, and its near showtime, and no one thinks the show will happen, and Elvis looks at Billy and says, " you didn't think I would make it did you? " And Billy said he gave a great show.
I love that smile he gives. You see the joy at that moment. What makes it more impressive is we know in this moment there is a lot of pain behind this song. He was left by his wife, his mom is dead, he doesn’t have his daughter, and his long time manager had used Elvis his career and Elvis knows it. It’s almost a song of sadness then love. I feel the emotions.
This was the first time he performed the song live and nailed it. To just bust out a new song like that. Just wow! Such a powerful performance and presence this man had! Not many people have had a presence like that where generations later people can look back and feel what those felt at the time. Most young people look back at old stars and don’t get what people back then got. But you don’t need to watch much of Elvis to understand how special he was and it translates over to all generations! The charisma, the flamboyant over the top style, the energy, the entertainment, the talent. One of a kind!
I remember back in 1956-7, days of Heartbreak Hotel, Hound Dog, etc., reading in the newspaper how Elvis Presley would be forgotten in 6 months. To see him gaining new fans more than 60 years later is beyond incredible. But that wonderful voice and spirit will NOT be forgotten.

Every time I see this performance I get tears. I'm a 43 year old grown man too young to have ever seen Elvis live, but I cry when I see this. To see where he started in 1954 with That's Alright Mamma and the youthful energy he had, and his legendary performances through his life, to know this is near the end and yet he performs like this, there are no words.
We are very close in age. I was born 11 months after he died. To me, as a kid, when my parents or abuela would play his stuff, it seemed like the oldies, but of course now I realize how I was not that far removed. It's a little haunting now. We've both lived longer than Elvis now, pal. Woof. It starts hitting different these days, doesn't it?

thank you!! For him to perform this song the way he did in the poor shape he was in is a testament to his drive and talent. If you notice he hit deep notes and great tone that he likely just didn't have when he was younger. He sounded almost like an Opera singer here. It showed his range. It took every ounce of his being to walk up there that night and do what he did. Thanks again.
His essence completely fills massive spaces. I highly encourage anyone who has any interest in him or his music to visit Graceland! I went as just a casual fan (by birth of a dad who loved him), and it was an unexpected experience. It was a roller coaster of emotions. At times, I was entertained by the decor, and at others, I was moved to tears for reasons I can't explain. Walking through the "Hall of Gold" (his numerous hits) to the trophy room with 40ft high ceilings with awards from top to bottom completely blew my mind. I've heard all the stats, but there is nothing to prepare you to be standing among all of it. Seeing many of his jumpsuits on display was just icing on the cake! Don't miss the Memorial Garden if you go. It is where Elvis, his parents, grandmother and Lisa Marie's son are buried as well as a special marker for his stillborn twin, Jesse. That alone is very moving. You will be amazed at the number of flowers still sent on a daily basis. Also, check out the list of celebrities who have visited Graceland. MANY of them have had their music reacted to on this channel. I don't believe it's a trip anyone would regret if you're in the area. While in Memphis, definitely check out B.B. King's Blues Club! The house band is incredible!
My heart cries so very hard seeing Elvis giving it his all, I miss Elvis, in less than 9 yrs from ur 68 TV special in ur black leather until this song, U never gave less than 100 %! Thank you Elvis You will always be the very best of all times!! Thanks!!!

Elvis was amazingly talented, a phenomenon!!! And once in a lifetime someone like him comes along!! A legend to never forget!! Thanks. Greetings from Peru!
When they found Elvis dead he had been reading a book about the shroud of Turin "the Face of Jesus". He was a spiritual man, and he loved God! I cried when he died. I think everyone cried!
She was mistaken There is no cure for Ehlers Danlos it's genetic and they did not diagnose him properly to offer relief. And that was only one of the medical problems. Dd
Holy shit! I'd never seen this video. He was so out of breath and shaky before he started and then belts out the song with that otherworldly voice. He was the king, no doubt.
When God created my friend Elvis he was just showing off. I can't tell you how much i love and miss him, there is not a day that goes by that i don't think of him and all the memories we made in 10 short years, his death knocked the wind out of me i have never been the same since, Elvis was the big brother i never had. He is also my guardian angel. Graceland is my go to place when it get's to hard to live w/o my friend i go there and walk around and remember Elvis and all the beautiful times we had together. He was the only person in my life that understood me and cared about my feelings and opinions. What it comes down to is we both needed a true friend and we were that for each other. Awesome reaction. His body failed him but his voice never ever did God bless you and your family from the one and only Memphis Tn
That amazing voice and beautiful smile gets me every time! Oh how I love this man! This was my Dad and StepMom’s song. They are both in heaven now and I’m sure he is singing this for them.

Long live the King Elvis, God and Jesus King of Kings, Amen!!!!!!! Heaven sure must have one heck of a band by now!!!!!!! Stay safe everyone!!!!!!🗣️🤗💪✌️👍..............
It's heart breaking to see him like this, his manager and doctor did him no service pushing the pills on him. He was such an incredible musician and entertainer, he deserved better.
Some have the sensitivity to write beautiful letters; others have the sensitivity to sing beyond the feeling that the writer composes. Elvis had this gift, he was able to exhibit a sensitivity beyond what was written; even though he was so sick, fragile, close to dying, he was able to record in history a voice so surprising and surreal that, until today, I have never seen such a voice. Nice reaction. God bless you! Hugs from Brazil.
The way he looks at fans and smiles . That part always gets me. Even all drugged up Elvis still had it . He lived for his fans they loved him . Still to this very day they still love ❤️ him .
I get so choked up watching him and then remembering the announcements that he had passed shortly after. God bless & Rip Elvis. Look down and see all your new fans of a new generation. 🥺😢
About a month and a half before he died. Strung out on drugs, overweight, out of breath, and he still kills it. There’s no auto tune here. Rest In Peace!!
I love your reactions to Elvis, great to be on this memory lane with you :) This performance is so painful to watch, Elvis was so sick, I am extremely angry that his manager Colonel Tom Parker (who was not a Tom Parker at all as it later turned out, just illegal Dutch immigrant Andreas van Kujik) made Elvis to perform to pay his Vegas debts :( Elvis should have rest and get professional medical treatment :( But Elvis obviously gave his all pouring all his heart and all his passion into this song. I wonder what Charlie Hodge (the guy standing beside Elvis0 was thinking about it all. Elvis was so famous with so many people around him yet when he needed help the most nobody came to rescue :( Great loss at such a young age. Karolina/Poland

Literally cried watching and listening to him perform this song in his condition.
Thanks!!!
Elvis lived for his music and his fans. He had a very lonely life. Forever the King of Music.
Thanks for the respect, Jamel. This performance was very bittersweet.
bittersweet
This is one of his best performances because when you see the beginning where he can barely talk, but he still sounds like that, WOW!!
When you're the King, your mic stand is a who, not a what.
I know I know this man is ( was) Fantastic I have tears in my eyes😧 I love this guy very much I am a big Elvis Presley fan💫 If You Can please visit Graceland you can Feel The Spirit of Elvis Presley 🕯I was there in 2012....💞 Big kiss from the Netherlands💋
I agree, such determination. I wish for a tenth of that courage.
Thanks So Much Jamal! He’s Incredible!!! We ain’t Worthy!!! Right? Unbelievable! Elvis was a great pianist! Extremely Talented, Gifted, Man! 👏. Thanks for bringing all these Great Memories back to me! 😊👍👏.
OMG it breaks my heart that this was one of his last performances...and he did not look well, but sounded more amazing than ever. Elvis, I fell in love with you when I was 6 years old, and now I'm 56, and I will always love you.
I'm 45.
I couldn't help falling in love with Elvis when I was 11.
I will always love him to death!!
@@songpresley8432 You're amazing!!! Elvis lives!!!
@@geesegirl You are amazing, too.
We are Elvis juniors!! ^^♡
Big Elvis fan here love the man. I always find it hard to watch the last concert he ever performed. But I watched it to see your reaction. With all your elvis videos. Thanks for posting long live the king 👑
He was the King of rock! He was an original artist there was no one like him before and never will be anyone to compare to him ever again. Rip Elvis Presley.
Elvis was amazingly talented, a phenomenon!!! And once in a lifetime someone like him comes along!! A legend to never forget!! Thanks. Greetings from Peru!
It makes me cry every time I watch this !
He was overloaded with Emotions he was completely down. And still gave everything for his fans. Elvis I Love You
When they found Elvis dead he had been reading a book about the shroud of Turin "the Face of Jesus". He was a spiritual man, and he loved God! I cried when he died. I think everyone cried!
ABSOLUTELY!! FACT!!! He was Saved, holy ghost annointed, grew up in church, and the ONLY GOLD RECORD HE RECEIVED WAS FOR HIS GOSPEL ALBUM!!! FACT
I was only 15, and a complete mess. I began watching and loving him at 2yrs old. RIP KING
OMG yes..I still cry missing this beautiful man...
I still miss him too! That rock-and-roll life style is not good for anyone. It was sad because he died too young.
Elvis was found dead by Persilla reading a book in the bathroom. I suppose that one.
I've seen it a hundred times, and it still brings tears to my eyes.
And it ever will !!! 💞🎶
Thanks for your appropriate reaction !🙏
I’m with you, so powerful and heartfelt.
Probably one of the best singers ever. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
My wife once said that if Elvis' voice had ever failed him, he may have decided to get healthy. I had never thought about it that way, but.........
Interesting perspective. She might be right.
She was mistaken
There is no cure for Ehlers Danlos it's genetic and they did not diagnose him properly to offer relief.
And that was only one of the medical problems.
Dd
I am crying, am so sad, what a amazing guy, so awesome, will love him forever xxx
This clip always brings a tear to the eye. He was so close to death and you could see it. But he still had a voice and that charisma.
I think he knew he was going home to be with the Lord and his mother.
🙏
Even in his last few weeks of life, he gave his all. He will always be king.
If you dont feel that, something is wrong with you
kswhodat Amen!
Love ur reaction and respect u give Elvis!
That amazing voice and beautiful smile gets me every time! Oh how I love this man! This was my Dad and StepMom’s song. They are both in heaven now and I’m sure he is singing this for them.
,The poor guy could hardly talk but once he started singing and playing the piano, Oh my God, freaky is putting it lightly for sure, unreal, unbelievable that's for sure and that was just before he died!!!!!!! Darn right I'm a believer, I'm not an atheist but if I was Elvis would have had me converted right there for that performance alone!!!!!!!!! Long live the King Elvis, God and Jesus King of Kings, Amen!!!!!!! Heaven sure must have one heck of a band by now!!!!!!! Stay safe everyone!!!!!!🗣️🤗💪✌️👍..............
Amazing😢😥😰😢😥😰😢😥😰
THE gold voice beutiful voice beutiful heart 💚 beutiful soul.
Beutiful reaction 🙏🙏🙏🕺
It's always so painful to watch this video. Elvis' mother and my great grandmother were cousins in Tupelo, Mississippi where my grandmother was born.
Tears of joy! The difference between Elvis, s spoken voice and singing voice was incredible!
It's heart breaking to see him like this, his manager and doctor did him no service pushing the pills on him. He was such an incredible musician and entertainer, he deserved better.
Amazing ❤❤❤ Elvis is truly Amazing!
The King .. forever ... RIP Elvis .. Great voice ..
That voice, that smile, that man !!!! 🔥❤🔥❤..it gives me chills and I cry every time I watch this ...love your reactions to our beautiful Elvis ❤❤❤
You can always see and hear the emotion on his face and in his voice.
The way he looks at fans and smiles . That part always gets me. Even all drugged up Elvis still had it . He lived for his fans they loved him . Still to this very day they still love ❤️ him .
Jamel you're a kind soul man. God bless you
I get so choked up watching him and then remembering the announcements that he had passed shortly after. God bless & Rip Elvis. Look down and see all your new fans of a new generation. 🥺😢
He's been gone longer than he was with us, and this performance still gives me goosebumps.
Okay THAT revelation upset me...and he died not long before I was even born!
About a month and a half before he died. Strung out on drugs, overweight, out of breath, and he still kills it. There’s no auto tune here. Rest In Peace!!
He was on PRESCRIBED MEDICATION!!! STOP with false information
@@dtm6358 it's still a form of drug and can be abused but allot of the blame goes 2 Parker, Vernon Presley & the Memphis Mafia.
@@dtm6358 prescription or not, he abused them, and his doctor wrongly prescribed them. He was addicted to prescription sleeping pills and painkillers.
He died two days before my precious uncle was blown up on a Dow Chemical boat in the gulf of Mexico boat.
I couldn't stop bawling for days.
@@dtm6358 he was let down by his doctor
Even at the end, Elvis voice could blow you clean off your chair - amazing
When he turns to the audience and smiles, you can see how vulnerable he is. Wanting love, Wanting approval, wanting validation. RIP Elvis. 💔🙏
Karolina/Poland
six weeks later Elvis left us. RIP
He truly was the GOAT! Long live the King!
Even at his worst, he was the best 💚
@Kam Mike well, I'm sorry I have a different opinion than you do?!
He is still the best....!!!!
Yep! Greatest Of All Time! GOAT!!
I've been an Elvis fan all my life I'm 58 and always shed tears when I watch or listen to this his voice never failed
The sound of your cry is another great vocal performance from the King
