Girnar Travel Vlog | Climbing 10000 Steps

- Standing tall at 3672 feet, Girnar is an ancient hill in Junagadh. This centuries old hill is covered with 866 Hindu and Jain temples that are spread over the summits. One will have to climb 9999 steps to reach the final summit.
It is one of the Holiest places (Shashwat Tirth) for Jains, where the 22nd Tirthankar, Lord Neminath attained nirvana. It is also believed to be place where next 24 tirthankars will attain nirvana in future. The mountain also an abode of some Hindu temples.

Best time to climb is from 3.00am to 7.00am . Have a light dinner earlier day , take rest , have bath in early morning. Have a cup of tea & start....
I started at 12 am and reached at 5:30 am. Best to start at 12 am 😊

We had planned that but realized that we would be in unbathed condition at darshan . so postponed it to include bath in the schedule.

The worst aspect of girnar climb is that all toilets along the route have been destroyed by the local people who do business along the route! This is due to shortage of water for both cleaning & flushing !! It created hygiene issue ! This creates problem for females (accompanying you). Since the climb is from 3.00am onwards , it is relatively dark! This helps ! Hence eat minimum food & water before climb ! Use toilet before climb !

जुनागड रेल्वे स्टेशन ते गिरनार हे अंदाजे 7 km आहे. आम्ही 6 जण होतो आणि गिरनारला पोहोचायला 120 रुपये (प्रति व्यक्ती 20Rs.) लागले.
How much total time it took from 1st step to 1st step upwards and downwards + visiting all temples???

Actually In ropeway it takes 7 mins travel time, but you have to wait 15-20 mins to enter into the ropeway if there is crowd.. so overall it takes 20-30 mins max in ropeway..

Did you just go for trekking alone? You should have taken some close shots of the temple at least.
Understand your concern brother, I personally don't like to take photo and video inside any temple, it's a religious place, people come there to pray and worship and I personally value and respect the divinity of such places so I didn't take inside shots..
@@ProbersPoint ohh point well taken brother....I didn't mean inside temple shots. I meant shots from outside only mentioning the long list of temples you encounter on the way to the summit.

Nope.. we started at 10AM, reached Ambaji Temple at 2PM (taking intermittent rests) and then at 4PM to Dattatreya Temple (after taking 1 hr Break at Ambaji), that guy was just kidding, if you watch the full vlog you'll understand..😉
