Now freedom of choice is a mere illusion, for if all humans had it there can be no control. The Queens would be irrelevant. The protagonists didn't change lol, their only change was at the beginning going from enemy to friend. From then on they stayed the same. At the end they ran towards each other and didn't let go, except it was reality itself pulling their worlds apparent. Nothing changed, reality still said you two part ways. All they accomplished was slightly extending their life span. From 10 years to say 70. Nothing changed, they still have to die at the end, still have to face a "homecoming" down the road. They replaced a 10 year life of war with a 70 or so year life of equally pointless days. It'll take them 50 years of that just to build a new system. Fighting won't stop, it's biologically mandatory of humans. Congrats Noah, you increased the length of time you suffer for, procrastination wins! News flash, our choices are made with the assumption it benefits us, however these choices aren't made by everyone, only those with power, the weak worms like Joran had no say. People don't realize that their very existence is a negative effect on people. As theirs is to you. If your choice benefits you, it hurts another. If your choice hurts you, it benefits another. There's no way to benefit all. Life's not equal and trying to force it to be is what creates these problems. Thats how we end up with Hitlers and such. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Proving Jorans choice was fine. If you can't accept a persons choice and punish it, you're not for free choice but dictatorship and totalitarianism.
People have to let go to grow, to live. Let go of EVERYTHING, including trying to better the world based off their biased ego.
