- Cult of the lamb is the indie game of the year and is one of the best indie games I've played in recent memory.
So if you're wondering is cult of the lamb worth it? It definitely is, especially if you're a fun of the rogue-like genre which includes games such as Hades and the Binding of Isaac.
Cult of the lamb is part rogue-like dungeon crawler, but part management that's almost like a blend of brutal titles like Banished and simplistic, easy game like Animal Crossing.
In this Cult of the Lamb review, through many memes I'm going to show you why this game is a very memorable, fun, but albeit short experience.
However, don't expect any cult of the lamb guide or tips because the way I play this game is incredible reckless and at least at normal difficult there really isn't many tips I can give.
So sit back, relax and enjoy this cult of the lamb gameplay as I say many questionable things, all while kind of review this game. - Ігри

This game has taught me that sacrificing the elderly to eldritch horrors is very ideal
This game brought me a very cherished memory one with my favourite Cultist.
The day the silly little guy joins in, I get a side quest.
"Great leader, this guy is a newbie, can you make him eat a bowl of shit?"
Sure.
Few days later.
"Great leader, we don't like this guy, how about you make him eat a bowl of shit?"
Sure.
Couple of days later.
"Great leader, you're such a funny guy with your pranks, can you make this guy eat a bowl of shit for the third time?"
Alright.
Next side quest? The guy I've been tormenting.
"Great leader, you are a master chef, there is a dish I want to ask of you, can you cook me a bowl of shit?"
... Ok?
Then, the day I unlock the marriage ritual, the poor guy comes up to me.
"Great leader, you have graced me with delicious food, would you marry me?"
How could I say no lol.

I love when games within games slap so hard you just say fuck it to the main quest and play dice for 16 straight hours.

Also, I have 17 hours in this game, and it only just occured to me that there's a big fat red Diablo like thing in the top left, showing you how many projectile uses you have... I've just been pressing the shoot-button from time to time and prayed to satan that I had enough fervour to actually use it... God damn it lol

Helped one of my followers prank our local giraffe by making him eat shit (twice), falsely imprisoning him, and for the grand finale murdering him. Needless to say “Butt Plug” is now my new favorite follower.

CotL is fun it’s cool, but I personally think Isaac is a more polished and smooth game with a lot more Versatility in its combat gameplay. But in lamb you can play animal crossing as well. But I love Isaac it’s so good!

I really can't say this is game of the year material. It's trying to be too much without being great at anything.
The rouge-like combat and bosses are pretty simplistic and underwhelming compared to the binding of Isaac.
Your camp will fall to complete ruin if you aren't babying it constantly and your followers have practically no personality.
Rituals make it really easy to just ignore all of your followers requests, and the upgrade paths are just a slow crawl to the top rather than allowing for specialization.
I really can't see much replay value in this game, something really important for rouge-likes.
