    I think this is the BEST intro to bullet journaling video on UA-cam. I’m happy to share it with friends who express an interest in starting their first bullet journal. Thank you so much for taking the time to put these videos together! 💖

    I really enjoy Bullet journaling, both as a simple layout situation and ones that are kinda creative. I use both styles in my journal, I feel like you have been showing that to me constantly, like do what you feel that week, month or whatever. 😁👌💯

    I have one more tip, don’t start at the beginning of the year! In those first few months you’ll find your style and spreads that work and don’t work over time. It might also take the pressure off to start

      Yeah I felt quite pleased that I started in November so I had some ideas about what would and wouldn’t work for me when the new year rolled around 😄 good tip!

      Laura xyz I started at the beginning of April and have zero regrets about that! I recommend everyone start soon as they can lol screw the beginning of the year or even month. No time like the present to improve.

    Love this video! This is best and most helpful intro to bullet journaling I’ve ever seen! And as someone also living in NZ, it’s great to see a creator also from my country :)
    I’ve been a bit hesitant to start bullet journaling myself because of how much time it could take me to make it look *aesthetic* and *artsy* vs using it for its intended purpose (productivity and keeping track of things), since both creativity and organisation are big parts of my personality. But I really love how well you explain things in your video (very easy to understand) and how you showcase both your minimalist and artsy spreads without bashing one or the other.
    You’ve earned yourself a new subscriber!

    • @JashiiCorrin
      @JashiiCorrin  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks Lisa! 💜 I love the unity of the artsy and the functional, and feel it’s important to celebrate both 😄 I know a lot of people are drawn to bullet journaling *because* of the aesthetic, so I’m always a bit sad when people kind of “bash” it 😅 things are allowed to look nice! But as I said, they don’t *have* to 😊💜 glad you enjoyed the video!

    Well done Jess!! I found this very helpful as well and I've been using my bujo practice for 5 (I think??) years now and it's nice to have the refresher. Hope you're doing alright.

    Jesssssssss! Are you going to keep going with the tips on bujo? I’m super picky and I wasted too many notebooks. But i love all your layouts you inspire me but I’m still ocd it’s never good enough and I can’t let it go. If you continue “teaching” me how to bujo it might help me. Thanks. Ps HUGE FAN!

      Well each month at least two of my Sunday videos are allocated to the new monthly set up and my PowerSheets check in. The other 2-3 are a mix of bujo tips/ideas/challenges/etc.
      Next week is going to be a timed layout challenge, while the week after is going to be my new journal set up 😊

    Thank you so much for this introduction to BuJo. I am planning my first one ever, and the clarity and simplicity of your video will be highly helpful. I know now how to start, and I like the advice of not falling into the comparison trap 😉. I want it to be a pleasure, not a performance race, so I will keep your advice in mind ! I see you have many videos I can discover little by little, I am very excited to begin now ! And ... happy New year to you ! 🎉🌟🎉

    Mine could look as colorful and simple as yours but when I look back I say it’s too colorful and too busy. Then the next week I do it so plain and boring but it’s too boring. Ugh!!!! Yep I need a bujo therapist.

    Could you show us a dip through of all your bujos. What you hated, what you loved, how you dealt with the imperfections, how you corrected your actions in wasting new notebooks by not filling them out and buying new ones, and how you don’t get tired of the favorite spreads.im so picky and I probably wasted hundreds of journals.....Since grade school I wasted my time erasing my school work on paper I guess it’s ocd. If the simple shapes of letters aren’t shaped perfectly I tear the paper or I erase 100x ugh. I think I need a writing therapist lol. Sorry I’m blabbing.

    Maybe a stupid question, but why are you starting this around page 100? I think you put the index on page 99.

    • @JashiiCorrin
      @JashiiCorrin  2 роки тому +1

      That one was done in my “video making” journal. So typically an index would be at the very front, but for the videos I make I have a separate journal to set up example layouts 🙂
