Hello I have a leak and every month I have to fill with water but the water goes in the oil. The engine doesn't heat up. Do I have the same problem?

I would certainly change the oil cooler first and see if that solves it. I was getting an oily gunk mix in the coolant header tank and everybody said it was head gasket but it was just the oil cooler. Easy fix.

Do you have to completely drain the coolant to do get the cooler out ?

@@ImmortalViking1 You don't need to drain all the coolant, just whatever comes out when you remove the hoses going into the oil cooler.

@@Street_Fitter that's great news, I am changing mine tomorrow as mine went pop a couple days ago and was running out like a tap

Just make sure you don't fit a cheap one. I did originally and it ended up leaking oil through the casing. In the end I ordered a Pierburg one from autodoc for around £50. Been fine ever since.
