Do u still have broken radio board?
I've already sold it sorry
Thank you so much for your effort to record, edit and share this 🎉 And the music just wiped away my frustration ❤
❤
it does not worth trying it. imagine you need again to change headlights
🤮🤮🤮
What a video !! You are a star 🌟
what wrench did you use for those bolts?
One question was the Golf a 1.6 or 1.8 GTI?
Thank you🎉. I'm going to change mine now
I will.. Thanks
Mate I have replaced the water pump but not the cable. Still showing up error ''short circuit '' water circulation pump. Did i make a mistake with the cable?
@@Zoli-h9c you definitely should check the wiring and plugs
@Street_Fitter I needed tó unlock it with another device... It works fine now 👌
What were all the tools used in this video?
Awful diesel sound
Bro your radiator support bar is literally bent in the exact same spot exactly the same way on my Audi A3
@@lilempire4300 yeh had a front end smash. I just hammered it back in place but needs replaced. Had to change the bonnet as well (in another video) wouldn't fit right till I knocked it down a bit lol
Does it have the same airbag connector as a Astra G?
do you feel the difference to standard suspension? What kind of difference is that ?
@@romandragalev2366 yes much better handling
Do you now if the cam lobes are pressd on? Can it move on the shaft? If the belt snaps, so the pistons hit the valves? What was the problem white your camshaft ?
@@niklasmodd9789 the lobes are designed to move if there is an impact on the valves so that the valves are not damaged on this engine. I'm not sure if the belt completely snaps if the valves would be ok but on mine it was just some of the teeth came off. I just replaced the camshaft, rollers and lifters and fitted the new timing belt kit and the engine was fine afterwards.
@@Street_Fitter had today exactly same situation in my car, cam belt teeth broke. You gives me hope that I might be ok in my car, I will pass this information you have in video to the engineer. Thank you so much again for this amazing video indeed ♥️
@mohamedferas2070 yes it should be fine not bad to repair
You need to take new m12 bolts with m14 spline for that. Its a safety issue. Do not take the old ones. They cost 2.50 each
It depends on the condition of the bolts. If they were worn I would have replaced them but they were still fairly new.
@@Street_Fitter Well, If you screw them exactly with 90nm 180° you can use them again, but i didnt see you doing that. These bolts bend, If you overbend them, they are "screwed" If you dont bend them enough they are a safety issue. In both ways it would be a safety issue, at least use locktide
@@Independentschlueder Ok I appreciate the advice on this but it has now been over 3 years and no problems.
@@Street_Fitter its a difficult topic. Different opinions. If a proshop doesnt replace these screws you can charge them in case of a brakemalfunction. But people have different experiences. i think the exact momentum is important plus copper spray them before mounting.
@@Independentschlueder Yes I agree! I always use copper slip grease when refitting bolts, you can see this on them when they are fitted although the video has been edited and I have not shown the application. I am not working in a proshop, I just make a video when I work on my cars and hopefully that will help other people to fix their own.
Do you need to bleed the fuel system after all?
@@andrzejkolano8596 no you don't bleed it just replace filter and you're good to go!
@@Street_Fitter thanks buddy. That’s very helpful video. Best wishes 👍👍👍
so that mean that all what i need is to find 7seat car and tahe the 3row with all originals parts and just put in my 5 seat, i have 2007 model
@@rejho5 yes mate
@@Street_Fitter thank you
Remember you would need to put the seat belts in as well which may be awkward but if you have a donner car everything will be there at least. You will also lose the ability to carry a spare wheel.
@@Street_Fitter i know, 4 child is on the way so i need it
@@rejho5 congrats mate I've got 4 kids but ended up getting a bigger car now they're getting older we needed a bit more space. Still have the Touran as a backup tho
How do you tell which sensor is 1-3 on a CAYC? I have a P2080 code (Exhaust gas temp sensor circuit bank1 range/Performance) and i was told it was the sensor pre dpf (the one you just replaced) so now i'm a bit confused........ I can only find 2 heat sensors in the dpf/exhaust which knowing this car makes me think the one i need to change is going to be in a bad place.
@@K2edg unplug the sensors individually and check what codes come up so you can tell
Great Video but I want Santa to bring me a four post lift and a garage. Man I done loads of repairs on the floor, getting a bit old for that now. How long did it take you?
Yeh same here! Getting too old for it myself as well lol Could probably drop it within a few hours depending on how easily the bolts come out. Couldn't tell you how long because I just did a bit here and there.
@@Street_Fitter That is why it is handy to have spare wheels to get about lol. That is always the problem with bolts damn corrosion. I had a Mondeo I had to drop the subframe a bit to prevent the lower arm bushes being damaged. I was always wary of the captive nut welds breaking and the subframe bolt just spinning. Motors can be a pain at times. All the best.
Great video helped me greatly
Ou est le capteur d'arbre à came sur ce moteur? je doit changer le miens sur ma Seat Leon....
got this job to do over the weekend, i have no handbrake or brake on the OSR, hope it's just an easy replacement, the calipers come either with or without holders, do you know what that means?
@@spook_dad it could mean the caliper carrier. You would only need to replace the caliper not the carrier. Check first though make sure it is the caliper that is at fault. Would be best to replace the pads as well and possibly the discs depending on condition and clean everything up and grease the guide pins etc.
@@Street_Fitter I did it all on my mk4 about 6 years ago, I'm going to do the pads and try and remember where i put the red rubber grease. The pictures don't show the caliper carrier so i'm still not sure what the holder is, might pop down to halfords to have a look at them in person then order from am more reasonably priced outlet. Thanks for the quick reply
@@spook_dad I've just done one on an audi a3 cost £50 with vat from a local parts shop.
Hello sir, i have a opel astra h 1.7cdti 2004 my map sensor is not working properly and the pipe after the egr valve is build up, do you know what would be the reason
@@backa9221 yes the egr valve causes the carbon to deposit in the pipes. You can blank it off with a metal plate.
oh my...guys please don't do it like that
@@jenshoffker5702 why not?
Product used?
this just helped me so much!! thank you, legend 🎉
Thank you. This is the only guide that was of any use to me!
Same problem on my touran this morning. Thick white smoke from the diesel heater. What caused it?
@@farnhamclose11 usually if it hasn't run for a while but nothing to worry about it soon clears up
music is weird but not bad
I'm getting a fault code 'exhaust gas temp bank 1 sensor 3 circuit low', it used to go away by restarting the car, but it's gotten way more frequent lately. So today I changed exactly this sensor, cleared the fault codes, and it took an hour of driving before it came back. May the issue be with the cables from the ECU? Or any other issue may cause this error?
Yes could be the wiring although it's not uncommon to buy a faulty sensor. Is the sensor oem?
Can you do it a little faster so we can miss the whole process??😂
Great thanks.
a part from lifting up the window I didn't get anything about the rest....at all
How many liters did you put in the engine?
Astra was a quicker car mo doubt
Spot on bro, took mine apart on the 2005 Touran sprayed with contact cleaner, waited for it to dry, put them back together. Cleared the codes and the fault is gone. Took less than 3 minutes. You are a genius thanks again....
nice and detailed guide, I hope it works too for bgu engine
Great video buddy
Wow thanks for this video this has helped me out tons
Uesful video, mine has just gone. Not too impressed with the cylinder, made of plastic, looks like a piece of leggo kit.
We're do I get the tool from and what's it called thanks
It's just a 5mm allen key
@Street_Fitter my astra g roof the front part of roof comes up a little bit and starts beeping what could be the problem mate if u go on to my page I've uploaded a video of what's its doing 👍
@@JamieJohnson-sr9pe First thing to do is check hydraulic fluid! It beeps as soon as it finds a fault with the next stage so your latch mechanism will be fine since it opens to there. I believe the next stage is the tonneau cover opening so possibly an issue with a hydraulic ram at the back or the lock not releasing. Best thing to do is try opening it manually and get that rear cover up to see if there is an issue.
@Street_Fitter just checked it and the fluid is between the full and min
@Street_Fitter we're u based to mate maybe u can have a quick look at it

Hello! You answered above that back seats from zafira don't fit in Astra g... What about front seats? Do they need any modification?
