I consider Ino as the winner of the battle - the incredible strategy she showed, having the chakra control to infuse her hair with chakra, her unique jutsu - totally the winner here. Inner Sakura was clearly just plot armour, considering it literally never came up again..
Agree. How come Ino who connected a thousand shinobi's minds in the battle be taken over by an "inner Sakura"? The writer is annoying. Ino has trained this jutsu for years and Sakura who doesnt even have a clan took over? Very sus

It wasn’t even plot armor. It was to get both of them out of the running so Kishimoto wouldn’t have to draw Sakura losing horribly in the next round.

@@kayevee9673 Those didn't even exist at the same time. The writer is annoying not bc of that, but bc he just doesn't care to write female characters well and excuses it as that he doesn't write them well.
@anseatery except it literally does come up again, Sakura haters want her to be below their own biased female character so bad bc Kishimoto wrote them all poorly even tho he's made it clear Sakura is the strongest besides Kaguya. It's weird to consider Ino the winner when Sakura wasn't even taking Ino seriously as she just stood there goading her which allowed Ino time to weave the chakra rope. No sane ninja or one that took a battle seriously would stand there talking to their opponent. I'd actually argue that Sakura would win or would have won since she's been in grittier fights (Forest of Death) and has the toughness for a real fight while Ino never gets physical. Ino's strength is in her long distance range being a support, but that's not something you can do 1-on-1.

This is essentially Ino's loss. 🤔🤔She is a clan hime with a dojutsu that is trained in the family.
Sakura, with her two consciousnesses, turned out to be a very inconvenient opponent for her. Even with the passage of time, Ino was still unable to surpass Sakura in skills.
That was just plot armor. The writer even made her say a few words before sakura tool back control.

@@verguco6051 I don't think just because it's comedy that it wasn't apart of Sakura. Out of all the things that are plot armour Inner Sakura seems the least. It was a part of her characterization and a part of her subconscious. Do I say it's fair game. The only thing I'd say is plot armour is Naruto awakening it.

Moron Ino fans seem to forget that Sakura despite not having any special jutsu passed down to her by her family (since both her parents were ordinaey citizens of Konoha) had something which Ino lacked- Will power! She had amazinf chakra control something whicb Kakashi noticed. Kakashi remarked that sending the perfect amount of chakra to one's feets for attack is so very difficult that even Sasuke and Naruto would find it difficult! Sakura being equally able as Ino is in this fight is not a fluke!

Просто Сакуре повезло встретить Цунаде. Ино и Тен-тен к сожалению сильными не стали, Ино просто полезный персонаж за счёт сенсорных способностей, а Тен-тен к сожалению всё такая же бесполезная, ей даже веер, который она нашла на войне не оставили (

Even if Ino should've won the fight against Sakura, I can't see her at the same level of all the other genin who passed to the finals, like... How would she gonna beat Neji, Shino or even Gaara lmao 😅
Ino actually wasn't that weak. In the databook her stats were solid. She's by no means a match for someone like Neji or Gaara but she had way higher stats than Sakura with a ton more speed and better taijutsu. She would have creamed Sakura and given the average Genin (except elites like Neki, Lee, Gaara, Sasuke etc.) a very good run for their money.
Temari blew her back out so nobody else in the series could, that’s why ten-ten is single in Boruto

Unrelated, but I feel like the writers sometimes forget the training and moves/abilities some of these characters had when they got to Shippuden. A good example is tai jutsu period, they all received extensive training in that category yet the only characters we ever really see use it are the best of the best like Rock Lee or Neji and other than 1 or 2 moments even those are lacking in Shippuden for most or the side characters.
