So I see you really taste and enjoy the clean-cut urbanity of Dean's Instagram. Happy to share the pleasure! Then can I recommend a few other treasures for you? To begin with, Epik-High and Hyuk-oh. They are top-tier bands making their own music in separate terrritories. The song I want to introduce is Epik-High's "Home is Far Away." Hyuk-oh featured in that song. Frankly speaking, my bias is the latter but both of them are literally splendid. Just spare some minutes for them when you're indeed free. And I nearly forgot mentioning an information which could be intriguing to you. The leader of Epik-High is a graduate of Stanford Univ. Ya, one of the League memeber Univ.s in your country. So you don't have to feel pressured to meet these guys. At least, one of them lived in your neighborhood for quite a long time. Very fluent in English as you guess. Then Have a good time!

The guitar was done by Soyoon, the 20yo (at the time) singer/guitarist for indie rock band Se So Neon. They've got a really unique sound, she has an unusually androgynous voice . . . you might dig them quite a bit.

I also am glad you didn't cut this from the list. He needs a well-rounded introduction to Kpop, and this song does a great job of rounding things out. I usually include "Miracles in December" or "My Answer" (both by Exo) so there's a ballad in the mix when I introduce friends to Kpop.
