in an interview he said he goes in the reccording booth at like 3 am just writing music and he always found himself on instagram looking at other peoples lives ,
his friends would be out clubbin but hes all alone working bc he has too bc its the dream!! He makes comments on how people always put their best face on social media but thats not reality!
he said that he wasnt very happy with his last album (idk why bc shits lit) but he said he didnt feel like it was real but he said his next album is for him and no one else in hopes that this album he writes for himself will comfort him when hes sad and alone.

I don't think I'm ready for this one since he's going all out on what HE wants to do lol I'm about to get hit with too many emotions going off of instagram and just knowing how Dean is.

gracie Yeah I think he's someone who will never be completely satisfied with a huge project because he's probably a perfectionist 😂. WelI...I understand him but at the same time I don't. Doesn't matter how complex or sentimental the song is or isn't, some people will relate to it regardless of whether he's writing for them or not. I watched another interview where he talked about how he wrote songs that felt empty to him and didn't take an effort for him to do just for public consumption (back in EXO days) So I guess he was still doing that for Mood? but now he's writing songs with a different goal/motivation. Sorry if this is long lol.
Skylion i completely agree! But i can understand the level of perfection he holds himself too, hes so talented and having so much to show hed want to make his work hold up to his talent . but trying to translate all that perfection in a song must be stressful but its alright i write long too,
he had to write alot of songs for show me the money so i can get his frusterations trying to just churn out music without really investing himself in it

I feel like any artist would wear themselves out expressing the same level of vulnerability all the time so it's cool that he makes songs like Fnxcy but I see what you're saying if he felt pressured to do only those kind of songs.
