Your excitement for your projects is so infectious! It makes me equally excited for the things you're making/will be making. I'm planning on knitting a deliciously nasty green Earth Sweater by Ozetta this fall, along with a burgundy/warm purple Dear Duomo by Seunghee Hong. Bring on the cooler weather, pls!!!
Gorgeous color for the mock neck tank 😍 the dusty sea green too, so lovely. I'm finishing the Salty Days sweater this week, and itching to cast on the My Fletching sweater, Sweater No. 18, and either the Ingrid or Storm sweater. Ugh. Too many projects, not enough time 🙃 Anyways HAPPY AUTUMN!!!!! 😙🍁🍄
I’ve been thinking about making the cloudbow too as well and now I’m taking this as a sign that I have to make it 😂 the color you chose will be perfect for it 🥰 can’t wait to see when all you fall projects are done 🤗🍄
Awhile back, I bought a sweater's quantity of Hedgehog Fibers Tweedy Noir and haven't really found the perfect pattern for it... but I've been TOTALLY obsessed with your Daddy zip sweater ever since you shared it. The colour you chose is soooo good and the finished piece is so stunning. I think that's what I'll be doing with the Tweedy! It has a kind of 80s feel that I think will be the perfect match for the neon confetti yarn.
I’ve been hovering between the Lanark and the Zipper sweater light. That collar on the Zipper is stumping me! It’s knit in ribbed twisted knit AND purl 😩 and the 1/2 fisherman’s is great but then the increases and decreases 😩 (so I cast on a Lento😂). Any tips for the zipper collar? 🙏
When you frog (or rip out) a knitted item like a sweater, the yarn tends to be really kinky! Washing it smooths it back out to be closer to "new" yarn. As for how, there are lots of ways to do it. I'm not sure what Brooke does, but I tend to put it back into a skein (using a tool like a niddy noddy, or even a swift or a chair) and then soak it in warm water (like you would for blocking), squeeze it out between a towel and hang it to dry. For smaller items like socks, I tend to just steam the yarn with an iron instead of doing the whole washing/drying cycle, but it's definitely worth it to do it the long way for something large like a sweater. :)
@@sarabee6787 thanks! Wow that sounds crazy. I frogged socks and was so unhappy with the new ones I should have investigated further. Thanks for responding!
Ohhh I'm so excited about your Harlow sweater! And all the greens 🤗💚
Girl, you are hilarious. I love how your personality shines through in every video! I am always in a better mood after watching your videos!

I knit the Harlow V Neck (in Ultra Alpaca!) and the folded v neck is such a pain 😂 worth it though!
Even changing brands or type (or wood instead of metal) of needles can change your stitch gauge, because you might hold them a bit differently.
Oh interesting, I had no idea! Thanks for sharing!!

AHHH that sounds like it will be so gorgeous!!!!
It’s 70 degrees this AM in DFW! AUTUMN!
INCREDIBLE! Maybe the weather is slowly getting on the autumn train!
Loved the episode! I am headed to Norway in a few months. Any yarn or yarn store recommendations?

In your defense, TX AC is no joke!!
Am I the only knitter who hates the cold? I love knitting woolly and cozy sweaters but I'm a Spring girl all the way
Sorry I’m new to knitting. How/why wash the yarn for your vest? Thanks!

Not necessary -- it's a lot of moves for something that very probably won't make a difference in the outcome.
