      Its anxious bc this derp of a vet dragged her personal cat out of its safe comfortable home space for an ill informed video. It is in a strange place, stuck in a harness, on top of a chilly table. It is crying bc he wants to go home to his shitty basement bc its at the very least familiar there. Nothing wrong with the cat, the cat mom on the other hand...folks that come here should just go straight to jackson galaxy's channel.

      When they get to a level that is not tolerated by you, correct it - Via distraction - Positive being 'HEY it's trick time/stimulation via food time(Don't give reward WHILE playing(reward hard wrestle) Negative would be squirt with water and chase them both from the spot, then distract with trick timmmmmeee. Just a suggestion, offer piñata toys after so they have a puzzle to work their mind. It's a lot of bouncing back and forth.

    Y'all have to keep in mind that this vet gave this advice nine years ago. Especially in regards to essential oils. Used to be that lavender was the only one that was okay. But that is no longer true.
    I think the best thing would have been for this vet to have removed the video. Unless there is some physical reason or health issue that's preventing that.
    Or maybe she just doesn't care!🤷

I’m getting choked up just thinking about her I love her so much and I miss her I just pray to God she didn’t suffer because something must’ve attacked her and killed her. So I saved this cat's life because it was abandoned. He was very aggressive at the beginning and has become slightly less aggressive. But there is a problem - he does like to go after my other less aggressive cat all the time and ends up in his cage for 10 to 15 minutes every time. The other problem is that I have never known a cat with this many behavioral problems and I have had and loved cats my whole life and I have never met a cat I don't like, but I don't like this cat, you can't even pet him properly without him wanting to bite. I'm gonna send this cat to the humane society if I can't find him a home and I don't care if they put him down or not.

      If not treated yet and how to catch them,
      - it is better for you to use a cat trap (put some food inside to lure them in) and it's the easiest to catch them, without both side having any injuries.

      I'm not sure if anything has changed yet, but using a humane trap usually used for possums or raccoons can also be used for cats. That's how they do TNR. What you can do is purchase one of those traps and put food inside. Maybe you will catch her in the first try, if not just keep trying. When shes caught put a blanket over so she doesnt freak out as much. Then set an appointment to the vet unless its walk in. Goodluck.

    • @bncsmom1
      @bncsmom1 3 роки тому

      Sometimes, the best solution is to put them in a room together and let them fight it out. Monitor it to be sure neither actually gets harmed (vs hurt...they'll hurt each other, but harm would be anything past minor scratches: ie, gashes, broken bones, etc...don't let it get to that point). Fur flying, a minor scratch here and there isn't going to be a problem. At some point, one of them will submit and the other will accept the submission and the pecking order will have been established. When it gets to be a problem is when it's constant and one of the two doesn't accept the other's submission or neither submit and it just goes on and on.
      The pheromones she mentioned are a good way to help. They calm the cats and cause them to be a bit less aggressive. You can get a collar that has a diffuser ball and put a drop of the pheromones or even lavender oil on that ball, which keeps it near the cat's head so it gets a full dose. Just be careful with essential oils and never use any oils that are contraindicated for cats, because they can mess with a cat's respiratory system. You can look up a list of cat-safe essential oils and which ones are good for calming (lavender is the top of the list).
      You might also take a look at their diet. There may be something off with their diet, too. A change in diet can cause a change in behavior. Working together with your vet, you can determine if there's something missing from their diet that can cause a behavior change.
