The Lunar Year bring the week to a beautiful end with their new song 'Porcelain', which I am very excited to premiere today! The band first featured over a year ago in my Winter 2015 compilation, and have made appearances a few times throughout the year (including last week's Christmas playlist), but I believe this latest track is the best of them all! Sit down, close your eyes and have a listen... ❄️

The first time I listened to this song I loved how peaceful, fulfilling, and whole it made me feel. Quickly I realized it was only because I was longing to hear something real for a change; tired from living in a world run (*mostly by things that shouldn't matter*) by popular demand. After Realizing the meaning, I became somber and emotionally aware. Though it embodies heartache and fragility, which I feel in completeness from listening, I still feel gain through heavy relation to this story told in song. To register the concept of being porcelain but also a contortionist at the same time, Wow! What vast difference between the two! How eye opening it is that these ideas, seeming to be completely irrelevant to each other in similarity (in a sad, unbecoming reality) are actually quit parallel/ relatable.
- Thoughts from a twenty year old mind that never rests.

I love the vibes you send out with the monthly compilations. I find myself searching for answers involving journey and growth in developing a healthy understanding of mindset when listening! The songs help me to grow as a human being, and for that I thank you!
Side note* I promised myself as a New Years resolution ( I know... who actually goes through with those?) that I would listen to a new song everyday. Your channel has aided me greatly in hopefully achieving that goal I'm merely weeks from completing!
