The difficulty between Mind flayer and Apostle is mental, 25 defense reduction doesn't seem so bad when you don't have a melee or a perk after wave 7.

@@TomoLamp Apostle doesn't have things to deal with the dangerous scavs for melee perks, like shotguns and Dave is very weak against them so melee becomes unviable, and you need several kills to regain the 25 hp from just equipping the hand

Mindflayer is my favorite perk to bring in public servers other Damned, because I have the enemy's wiki memorized since I'm insane. So its fun knowing who to snag during waves for damage or additional perks like dodging, grappling or yknow. A gun.

I find it a lot easier to capture scavs with ballistic dagger, you just shove them and they get stunned while you plant ur spider, also the small damage is enough for them to go below 75 and get capped
