Thanks for sharing. School charges around 2 lakh per year and then ask for 500-1000₹
DPS is a famous school mafia. Sad part is govt is doing nothing.
There are many other schools asking money government is not at all bothered
I applied for Teacher's job two times and even paid them 200/- as registration charges. I never got a call back for either rejection/acceptance. I even followed up and never got any information. This shows how much money minded these people are. So i agree on this point.

I am highly highly agree with her thought.Its not a good school,teachers are very rude & arrogant..Kids are not handled gently,they treat them like adults.Hitting and bullying is also a daily affair there,when you report these incidents they are going to label you as a complaining parents!!

@@Justflowwithjuhithat was the most important point actually. Imagine getting sanitizers but not having good teachers in a school 😂😂😂
Actually swimming and horse riding is not really mandatory, they take place in the games period so if the child wants they can pay the fee and take part in it but if the child doesn't it would be just a regular games period for them
For my son's class it was mandatory also we paid the fees for that, it was not mandatory last year, but this year session it was compulsory.
Somerville has two branches... one in sector 22 and one in 132. Is Somerville Sector 132 equally good??

My child has given entrance test for dps noida on 6th sep, yet the the result are not out. Not even sure if she is selected or not. I your case how much time it took to declare the result

They have cut out lists, we had 3 lists for selected students, so keep checking online if not in1st list, wait for 2nd Or 3rd, all lists come in gap of few days

@Justflowwithjuhi: Which school one can go with: Shiv Nadar, Amity International School, Somerville Sector 132,Mayoor or Lotus Valey. It would be great if you can provide in ranking-wise.
I would suggest if u do some research, like I think students of shiv nadar and somerville have secured all india rankings in CBSE, dnt go with name Or brand, try to get feedbacks from parents in your area, amity, mayoor, lotus are i think very costly even shiv nadar i suppose is costly. So decide school on some parameters like students ranking in cbse, distance from house, fees.
