Ave Maria! In this guided meditation, Fr. Philomeno reflects upon the 6th sorrow of Our Blessed Mother: when She receives Her dead Son into Her arms at the Foot of the Cross. In this Lenten period leading up to the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ, let us use this opportunity to grow closer to His sorrowful Mother and thereby compassionate His sufferings alongside Her. One person in one of our Marian groups made the obsevation that as Mary had grown up in the temple and sewed items for the temple, inculding veils.... it is possible that the veil which was torn in the temple was one she had made. Which corresponds to her heart being torn at this time in a personal way.
