My Revolution package deal wheel is arriving this Monday for me. I'm so excited and I requested to Brietta to glue in a instructor into my wheels box. I hope she put Rachel into my box. We will have so much fun together.

Hi Karen. Thanks for the comment. You are correct that the Sonata has some of the same features, I actually learned to spin on a Sonata and I really like that wheel. However; make sure you take a look at some of the other Revolution Videos we made. You will see more advanced features like the multi-speed Jumbo Flyer which no other wheel has...anywhere. Also the really big standard difference between the Sonata and Revolution is the Sonata doesn't have double drive and is scotch tension only.

Why do you need to flip the bobbin? Can’t you use it the way it is for Scotch but remove the tension band and put on the DD band? The only difference I see if the bobbin “whorl” is smaller for DD...
Ok, so do you still spin Z with DD or do you spin S? does this apply only because you already have yarn on the bobbin...the yarn bunching or unraveling? If you were spinning with a clean bobbin with no yarn on it, just the leader, does it matter which bobbin whorl is next to the wheel whorl ...the large or the small?
