As the saying goes 'you ain't seen nothing yet''. For me as a 71 year old , Band Maid are a Progressive Rock band, their catalogue fits nicely into what we would have called Progressive rock back in the late 60's / early 70's. With Band Maid The Bass is not only an attractive instrument, but very prominent and often soloing - why wouldn't it be when you have an incredible bass player in the band. There is so much to explore with Band Maid, acoustic performances, their Alter Ego 'Band Maiko' and live where they really excel.

I'm 72 and Band Maid is like the Mafia, they dragged me back in when I thought I was out. Best rock band on the planet.

Watch them live and please, please turn up the volume of the video. This is their first video and it went viral which saved the band when the label was going to drop them. They are so much better now it's amazing. Watch WITHOUT HOLDING BACK or FROM NOW ON to listen to the instrumentals.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Band Maid! Love your reaction, thank you for appreciation of this band that so many of us have come to love.
I hope you will consider doing more Band Maid reactions. They already have more than 100 songs to choose from. I would recommend Freedom (the official live version) which features a fantastic drum solo followed seamlessly by a great guitar solo. Thanks again guys!

@@Daniels-music-studio You are welcome! And if you like that one, they did a live version of Hate? (that is how it's spelled, with the ?) at Lollapalooza 2023 that will knock your socks off! There is a bass - guitar solo that starts about 2 minutes in and gets really hot!

The thing that makes Band Maid work so well is that every one of them have a voice and is respected by the other members. Po Best live band I've seen in person since Bon Scott AC/DC

Very nice reaction and review. I appreciate the care that's gone into it, including subtitles. I know you've covered some great Japanese bands in depth like Loudness and X Japan. You might be interested to see Band-Maid's evolution from the relatively simple (but excellent) music they were making back in 2014 to the much more complex (and still excellent) sound they have today. Some good songs to track that evolution would be:
Alone (2016) - their first self-written song. They wrote almost all of their music after that, and absolutely all from 2019.
Puzzle, (2017). The official live performance is from 2023.
Domination, live (2018). The official live performance is from 2020.
    Blooming (2019).
    Different (2020).
    Manners/Black Hole, live (2021).
From Now On (2022). An instrumental.
    Shambles (2023).

@@Daniels-music-studiothanks for checking out Band Maid. They aren’t what they seem, even in this brief introductory video. Since “Thrill,” they have made incredibly complex, well written and progressive songs. Of their 120+ song catalog? Probably 40-50 are approachable, legitimate hits. “Puzzle,” live and “Blooming” OMV are exceptional

To heard their most progressive sounds, listen to their more recent songs like SENSE, UNLEASH, INFLUENCER, BLACK HOLE and NO GOD.
Also watch this video from the NAONのYAON 2023, festival, organized by the ladies of SHOW-YA, whom you watched earlier, to showcase Japanese female Rock bands. You will hear GACHARIC SPIN, who have been playing for 14 years. The songs are REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY (an abbreviated version) and THE COME UP CHAPTER - ua-cam.com/video/eEFYh3WiybA/v-deo.htmlsi=1wgx2HjbHAB610TX
(You will see KEIKO TERADA of SHOW-YA introducing the band.)

Perfekcja i powtarzalność to wyznacznik tych zespołów. Polecam Lovebites ,Nemophila ,Astermis i wiele innych.
