Hello, I have a column from You and I would like to know how to properly clean the tube from which the hydrolate comes out. I am using citric acid, but it is not still enough it seems. Thank you very much for the answer!
When I get done whit citric acid soak your copper. In a solution of baking soda and water to deactivate be acid that is in the pools of the steel you want to ask it to stop eating once you have got it clean
To clean your still dissolve 10 grams of citric acid in1 liter of water. Fill the distillation still with this solution up to its filler neck, and leave it for 4-5 hours.
@@CopperPro yes . Thanks. shamimshaikh314@gmail.com Plz tell me the cost and plz show me if anyother models. this i will use to make flowers herbs steam distillation oil. Different flowers or herbs i use then i have to clean and then use. Isnt it? Yu showed how to clean. That way. Right. But one question yu didnt use water to wash. If not wash that acid smell will be there. So washing with water after cleaning is allowed or not.
@@xyzxyz23513 Of course, I'll write to your email, you need to use water after cleaning the distiller, you use citric acid solution and then rinse the distiller with water and wipe dry
you do not need to use this method after each distillation, if the distiller is too dirty then you should use a citric acid solution, in other cases you can simply rinse the distiller thoroughly with water or soapy water and clean with water
I clean my 30 litre alembic with a mixture of vinegar, salt, and white flour to thicken the mixture to help it stick to the walls. Scrub the heck outta the inside of the pot to clear off the heaviest sulfides, the exterior cleans up much easier.
Stop. You don't need all that stuff. Basic ketchup and a greenie is all you need. Let the ketchup sit, then, go back and wash it out like normal. The pot will look like a new Penny.
@@anthonythompson7970 my friend the ketchup will cost more than citric acid, it is not necessary to use ketchup as many of the ingredients are not helpful for cleaning, the vinegar in the ketchup and the acid in the tomatoes is what cleans the pot you don't need to squirt ketchup all over something to clean it
Nice ! I also would have loved to see technics of how to clean the flavoring column :)
the principle of purification is the same, pour water with citric acid, and then clean in accessible places:)

Excellent! Thank you.
A finishing rinse with warm water mixed with some sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) will neutralize the acid.
Thanks for this video it is very helpful
Anthony Kenny thanks a lot, I’m glad you like it!)
How to remove the smell from the column?
Will the citric acid does it?
Soak the column in a solution of citric acid as written in the instructions, this will help remove the smell
Should be clean before use at first time?
Thanks for your question. We ship clean distillers, but before first use you can do a blank distillation without raw materials.
