The desert crossings of trains belonging to BMSF and Union Pacific rail transport companies, which form very long convoys, always caught my attention. There are incredible images created by trains in this vast, desolate and calm desert region. Trains make interesting appearances at the 'The Tehachapi Loop' and 'Cajon pass' rail crossings. To get from the central United States to the California coastal regions, they must overcome the formidable 'Mojave' desert barrier. At times, eight locomotives connected in a row may be barely enough to provide traction in 'Cajon pass'. The passing of kilometers long trains through these unique desert hills and high passes evoking different emotions. This region is a different world and when combined with Masayoshi Takanaka's romance guitar music, it turns into a place that has the power to heal us all. I hope it will be.
