They should be making the cabs wider by now. 19" monitors should be standard now, especially for a shooter. I am surprised they did not learn from Big Buck & T2 how 17" monitor was too small
Not really interested in the Time Crisis right now. If it comes out officially and the little things are fixed, I will reconsider it. As for the Casino Partycades, I would definitely buy two of these. I am hoping for multiple titles on each unit, not just one per unit. Glad to see you are making more videos 😎
People are totally missing the WTF is going on with this cab. It’s a great 2 player game BUT in 2 player mode each player is out in a box. It’s not a true split screen game. Absolutely no way on a 17” screen this game is playable with 2 players. You would end up with a 6”-7” screen. Also, 1 pedal with 2 players doesn’t work. So, I’m guessing they only had 1 pedal hooked up and there is a 2nd pedal but it just wasn’t put on bc they realized 2 player mode sucked with a 17” screen and was just testing 1 player mode in their office. The casino cab is neat. I think it’s a cool idea.
Ewwww, the Time Crisis 3/4 scale cabinet looks ugly as hell. And with only 1 pedal that looks like plastic? I hope that's the prototype model shown here in the picture. Even the pedal was huge for the Time Crisis games that I played in the arcades way back then and it was a fully metal pedal that was built to last for several playthroughs. Definitely an XL version with a larger screen would be best for the Time Crisis cabinet, especially since they have an actual XL cabinet for the full scale arcade cabinets for the 1st game(the one in that's shown in the photo I have never seen before but I did play both the standard and XL versions of the game though it was a much sleeker looking cabinet). The casinocade seems like a good idea for casual players though if Ac1up continues to screw up with their products then they will start losing their consumerbase slowly. I thought that the Mvc2 and Blitz online play and whatever other minor issues would have been resolved by now but now I'm thinking that if the online play issue isn't going to be resolved and Ac1up isn't going to address the issue then there's no point in purchasing the cabinet for myself as playing the games online is one of the best selling features of the cabinet. It sucks that your tooth broke off in your sleep but I can relate to it as well since I had 2 of my teeth that broke off only for me I was eating instead of sleeping and it hurts to hell, especially when the broken piece of the tooth is stuck in place. I'm hoping that you can pull through the challenges that you're going through right now in your personal life. Take care and God bless.
Arcade1up should go back to producing classic arcade titles for home arcades and get away from niche titles such as Time Crisis, Killer Instinct and House of the Dead. These are great titles (I'm sure) but they had far less exposure than actual arcade hits such as Pole Position, Qbert, Moon Patrol, Contra, Hang On! True classics.
The problem is that they have released a majority of the titles that most people would care about playing from that time period. They can only re-release so much before people scratch their heads and go elsewhere. I think at the end of the day Arcade1up seems to be pushing for titles they know will sell as opposed to ones they hope will sell. Look at The Simpsons. That game is every damn where and nobody is buying it unless it's on clearance. Some of the pricing they have is insane and hopefully they will change some of their business model. Quality over quantity will sell. Sell trash and people will trash the company. Generally you either want to meet or exceed expectations but they are definitely missing lately. MVC2 could have been their saving grace but nooooooo lol. Releasing a half assed game will not win their fan base.
@@ThePsykoGamer the Simpsons is a perfect example of Arcade1up listening to the community and the community responding by not buying the cabinets. Maybe they made a few extra for retail or Xmas or whatev but if they stick with the swan design or stick w/ the current form factor (awesome) and keep reskining w/ upgrades they could keep pumping out arcades. Ultimately these "casino cades", wallcades and countercades will be A1ups bread and butter. 3/4's and XL's will become more limited direct to consumer
Oh I agree. With people having less and less room to fill and less money to spend they will flock to the cheaper options that take up less room. They have to made as quality though to keep them coming back.

Some games were made to work best on a larger screen for sure

I'm trying lol.

i want a XL pro model of time crisis,if its too small ill just get a real OG cab and just use a sinden for other stuff on my tv
I think they should go with the pro or XL model for this game.
