I’ve got 20 arcade1up cabs. Love them all. Dream come true to have my own arcade. I play them daily especially galaga and ms pacman.

I blame Biden on this cabinet. Shrinkflation and it tips over. Pass.

Dude you're ranting, and it's because you're coming from a place that clearly doesn't have a background in Microeconomics or the flow of business for a major company in general. For those that know what to look for Arcade1up is doing just fine. First, neither you nor the other youtubers in this community have any access to A1U quarterly sales figures. That would be the biggest and most direct source to explain what's going on and NONE of you have access to that data. As far as what we can know let's get the obvious stuff out of the way. In late 2022 they introduced the Deluxe line and has since then has concentrated on that model form (and a couple XL's too). They released within 12-13 cabs in the model form in the past year. Realistically that's a lot of inventory pushed on the market in a short time, that means a lot of material costs and supply chain issues will inevitably follow. It's most likely they're letting the current available inventory ride and slowly will release new cabs at this point bc 1) There's a global recession happening, and 2) the pandemic is over so not as many ppl are home and can concentrate on semi-expensive luxury home items like they did in 2020-2022. In other words the external market has the same affect on A1U as any company producing non-necessity product. The licencing issue was the only thing you touched on that MIGHT be an issue in the background, and would explain the lack of Deluxe Konami cabs, but that can change with the right deal. And lastly, the most important evidence Arcade1up is doing ok is they are still shipping inventory to physical stores and paying for display set ups at the stores. That all costs money, and is a clear sign they are healthy at the moment.

Hard pass for me. I'd rather get the XL Shaq Edition cab than this disgrace with a shameful Deluxe edition liner added on to it. It's like combining the partycade with the countercade to get a Frankenstein cabinet that's looks horrible when you see it in reality. The bride of Frankenstein looks way hotter than this nightmare of a cabinet.

This cabinet design is disgraceful. It looks sickly, and underfed. The step has got to go, and the cabinet needs to be restored to the full size of previous releases. As is, this is more like 2/3 scale. LOL Thanks for the video.

You know, if Arcade1up really wanted to do a projectorcade they should’ve went with Tetris Giant and included big joysticks like the one found on the Pac-Man Giant Joystick. That would’ve been better instead of packaging it with Pac-Man like they’ve did MULTIPLE TIMES BEFORE.

What assets would be attained if they sold?

The new games ppl want Arcade1up to put out can't be put out because they don't have the license. This explains the SF ALPHA games. I tend to think someone else already has the SMASH TV license as well

What one man can do to make a difference in the way a product such as Ac1up can do to get consumers to buy said product. Now that you mention it, John did have the weekly podcasts and the such going on at the time a few years ago which helped the brand out immensely. I'm not a fan of him but I will give credit to where it is due as yes, John was indeed the centerpiece of the company even though he has his arrogant moments at times which is what I don't like about him. If he is able to return to the company then I can see a revival of the brand which is definitely needed for Ac1up. It's still so much more that they can do the home arcade brand if they are willing to have passionate people like John who are able to push the brand in a direction that people want. Ac1up is still at the moment having sales on their cabinets for dad's day but if they're willing to sell or close up shop then it will be not so far off in the foreseeable future. I just wish that they were more passionate people like John who can pour love into such brands and hobbies such as Ac1up who can get people excited for such marketable products.

I'm hoping John D brings out his own company to continue making new cabs. No John D , no new IP !

I have been buying cabinets like crazy these past few months. They are certainly closing their doors.

Not sure I trust anyone who says he's "pretty sure" Arcade1Up has released X-Men '97. Obviously they did... people have it, reviews have been posted. If you don't even know whether it was released or not, how much can you know about A1Up in general?

arcade 1 up was neat, but now the market is just flooded with them. nintendo could save them but i dont think thats their market. The problem is they just cant get licenses, tekken, etc we are still waiting on some great games that never came.

They owe to much money to Captain D's.

I only plan to buy 3, and I have 1 already. To me, the Simpsons, MVC2, and NBA Jam cabs are the only ones I have interest in.

In the last three or four years, I must’ve bought about 25 1 ups. I even was stupid enough to buy the casino cade. I bought the newest Star Wars with the coin door two Christmases ago and believe it or not. It’s still not built its laying in my family room. Some people don’t like them, but I look at them as just toys. I would never want a real arcade. They are heavy require a lot of work and when I decide I no longer want it which would happen often you have to lug it and have people help you lug it to get it out of the house to be honest, all my arcades were played five times each. They are more for ambience when my sons friends come over and they play them. But to be honest they rather the PlayStation five the new Xbox or switch games that I have. I also like the fact that each one has or at least most of them have 10 or 12 games or more what I probably will end up doing eventually is getting rid of a few more and having someone built me a really nice multicade. I feel like everything is getting quiet now even the new games been brought out by PlayStation or Xbox. I’m talking new new games not remastered I even own the Apple Vision Pro just because I love all new technology and that is the biggest waste of money even if you have money to waste, the quest three is basically just as clear with so much more to do. I also collect all the new wave toy, mini arcades and that’s also coming to an end pretty soon. It’s a lot of money to sit on a shelf somewhere. The only thing I never bought from them was the pinball machine, but I have everything else and everything else coming that they put out p I have a bad habit of liking something and then buying everything and then realizing you eventually run out of space. Example my son started liking Star Wars so I bought six black series helmets five black series light sabers and just that little collection takes up so much space. I buy all the Robosen transformer robots flagship Optimus prime trailer I pre-ordered the other one that is coming out in few months. I also collect PlayStation five Nintendo switch and new Xbox collector edition video games if you go to my channel, you’ll probably see a video of the ones I have not even opened yet. Not sure what I’m going to do with everything once I open them all it’s got to be 50 or 60 sets. I still have not opened, some a few years old some just came out last week. DJ so I still collect records I have two sets of turntables three different controllers and five portable scratch turntables and I collect scratch records as well so you can see where I’m going with this eventually, even if you have a big home, you run out of space. My wife laughs because so many things end up on eBay never even used after a few years.. I think it’s has a lot to do with that. I’m 50 years old now and I could afford all the toys and gadgets ,I could not afford growing up. My son hardly plays video games. He likes his iPad games so I’m not even sure what the point is on having hundreds and hundreds of games not even played yet even if I live to be 100. I probably wouldn’t have enough time to play them all.

I was very excited when they launched the MVC2 cabinet but was disappointed with the buttons and sticks. The cab looks great, that light up panel looks dope, but the sticks and buttons are just so stiff. sure upgrades to Sanwa parts are possible but with these fast fighting games in the MVC2 cab collection, better quality sticks and buttons should have been considered. I get it, they have to make the most with their money but now i have to look into upgrading the buttons and sticks so i can have an enjoyable experience.

I only cared about the Fighting Games. And they really didn't bring out anything I wanted except MVC2. To me that was worth the $600. I got tired of them repackaging Street Fighter II which is my least favorite Street Fighter. If they had all the different versions of the Street Fighter Alpha Games on one cabinet, I would be tempted. KI I didn't have that much interest in. Mortal Kombat has always been trash. Anyhow, I've given up on them. I'm just saving up now to just buy the Unico Nova Blast Candy Cabinet to play all my old 90's & early 2000's Fighting Games on there. I already have a Qanba 2009 to play all my Modern Fighting Games on. I want the NFL Blitz Cabinet but at a super cheap price.

Rumour has it they are working on the European market as it is lacking options for them.

I understand the challenges that you're facing right now in your personal life right now. There's no need in apologizing in regards to posting any content as life has its challenges for all of us and I rather for you to take care of yourself first and foremost. That being said in regards of Ac1up in my honest opinion they have been out of the spotlight with them not having anything new to release besides the Infinity Game Table. They have AvP and Double Dragon in the works but it's been about a year since I last heard about those cabinets. With over hundreds of arcade games released from the late 70s all the way to the 2000s you would think that they release all kinds of 3/4 scale arcade cabinets from their respective game companies yet rerelease the same lineup but with different skins which is good if people missed out on the first wave of cabinets. Overall if Ac1up wants to stay relevant then they have to step up their game and bring forth some good marketing efforts just as they had previously in the past. I haven't purchased anything Ac1up related in years and wanted to sell one of my cabinets(cough, cough TMNT since I have The Cowabunga Collection for the Switch). If they continue making 3/4 scale arcade cabinets then great, otherwise I hate for them to be like iiRcade. They still can continue to have supporters if they are willing to listen to their core audience. After all, they're hundreds of arcade games that were released from the late 70s all the way through the 2000s, all Ac1up has to do is reach out to the game developers to make a licensing agreement and listen to their fanbase which has the cash to buy what they want. I'm still subscribed to your channel as you do your best to produce quality content for the audience as well as interacting to your audience which most influencers don't do. Game On!!!

Aubrey, First, never apologize for not posting a video. Like you said, you're not monetized, so you're not beholden to anyone :) I still have 18 3/4 scale arcade machines and am loving my Home Arcade. I don't ever foresee me getting tired of it. I guess the reason I don't care if Arcade1Up releases any new cabinets, is because I don't have any more room for 3/4 scale machines in my Home Arcade area. I only have room for 13, and unless Arcade1Up can outdo the cabinets I already have, I'm not interested. It's funny that you mentioned the smaller replica arcade machines, I'm assuming you mean from New Wave Toys and Numskull. If that's the case, then this is what really excites me. Since I don't have the room for 3/4 scale any longer in my Home Arcade, the way I get more arcade machines into that space is with these 1/4 and 1/6 scale machines. What they've done for my arcade space is give off the illusion of having more machines, a cool perspective kind of thing. I don't play on these small replicas, but I can have the look of them and play the actual games on my larger 3/4 scale cabinets. It's been a cool revelation for sure :) By the way, I just posted my new video review for a Donkey Kong 3/4 scale machine from a company called ArcadeModUp (yes, they sound like Arcade1Up). The machine is unlicensed, but I wasn't going to wait for Arcade1Up to figure out licensing, especially given their less than stellar quality track record. Wish it had a roll / back spin option

The $499 price tag is a steal for the Golden Tee 3D cabinet and the 8 games that come with it. I'm down for retro games being on this channel as it's just a sea of games that you can play literally for the rest of your life much like old, classic movies dating back from the mid 2000s on back. As for Ac1up, I give em a year or two tops as they're just not relevant anymore and only having the same rereleases just with a different coat of paint on it. If they just released newer cabinets with different games that they don't have in their catalog on a regular basis then they would still be relevant for the classic genre.

I wanted a MK 4 Arcade1up. I feel like people who mostly played MK 4 only remember the console versions. The graphics in the arcade version of MK 4 are amazing and to me still amazing today. The arcade version, Midway created the Zeus hardware The console versions of MK 4 was done by Eurocom. They wanted to keep the arcades gameplay at 60fps, unfortunately they had to reduce the the arcade graphics

Hard pass for me. I'll take the Marvel vs Capcom 2 arcade cabinet since it has the same lineup of games with cooler looking artwork. As for X-men 97(which should be 92 as that's the year when the show debuted in) I don't have any high hopes for the show with some of the changes that was made to it(Morph's new head look which is supposed to be based off of Changeling off of the X-men comic book and the sex appeal of the X-women being toned down from the 90's cartoon in my opinion). As for Ac1up, they really need to add new arcade game cabinets to their lineup as the rereleases with new skins/themes are getting dull right now. There are thousands of arcade games that were released in the 80's and 90's from several different game companies and Ac1up only scratched the surface of yesteryear's golden era of arcade games and more can be done to make this nostalgia market revenant. There's still Double Dragon and MvP which should release this year for room to add new entries to their lineup. Thanks for the update on this as I didn't know that this existed(as in the X-men 92 cabinet). Since you are considering moving the educational videos to a second channel is it possible that you can cover some additional areas that's related to gaming as a whole? It's just a suggestion since Ac1up isn't as it once was several years ago in my honest opinion.

Aubrey, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this isn't a X-Men cabinet and it doesn't have the X-Men beat em up on it. This is a repackage of Arcade1Up's Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 cabinet, the exact same game lineup. The most likely reason for the X-Men 97 skin is a colab with Disney, because of their upcoming X-Men 97 cartoon (thus the same name on the marquee). This is the second reskinned Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 cabinet from Arcade1Up, the last one was with a company called Kith. I hope this info helps. vgv
