    What a heart warming video , when we announced to some of our friends and family that we were going to Morocco they said are you mad it’s so dangerous but the reality is the Moroccans are the friendliest people we have ever met . To be honest the culture shock for us was going back into Europe.

      Totally agree @paulhumphrey3402. Morocco is one of a kind. People often get misconceptions due to some experiences they have had. But there is good and bad everywhere you go. Morocco is a refreshing place to be in.

      Sadly my daughter had some money stolen from her hotel room in marrakesh this summer which tainted their trip, something you don’t expect in a top class hotel.

    • @nazlitechschool
      @nazlitechschool Рік тому +7

      @@helenreasbeck1348 it´s an unfortunate and rare event I have heard happen in Morocco not alone in a top class hotel. Your daughter should have told the hotel staff what happened and asked for their help. Top class or five star hotels definitely have surveillance cameras, I am sure the staff would have been more than happy to assist her in finding out what happened to her phone. Indeed, this is the first time I am hearing about such an experience in a hotel in Morocco. Well, stealing happens everywhere, and sometimes one can get unlucky and caught in such situations if at all in happened in the hotel.

    • @helenreasbeck1348
      @helenreasbeck1348 Рік тому

      @@nazlitechschool they did report it to the hotel management, they thought at first they took loose change as a tip they had left on a bedside table but unfortunately it wasn’t as they took money from a handbag it wardrobe. I’m sure they had a good idea which cleaner it was and told them not to come in the room again

    Thanks for sharing your adventures! Great videos! I just want to rectify one piece of information you shared about the history of Casablanca. It was not founded by the French. It was founded in 1770 by sultan Mohamed ibn Abdelallah. Even before that it was an important port even during the Roman presence in the region. It used to be called Anfa. The French did modernize it,but they didnt found it. But great content! Love your videos. Thank you!

    Moroccans are wonderful people. Looks like you are seeing and experiencing it to its fullest. I did feel sad for that dog shading itself from the hot sun under the van. I agree the people are wonderful and the non tourist places are the best. One campsite we went to the man brought fish to the site and cleaned it there and then. ( with his tiny dirty knife). I am Moroccan from Casablanca. This summer I was on a trip in London, and when my trip was over I wanted to paper-print my boarding pass. I found a service shop downtown London, the guy at the shop wanted to charge me 2 pound for the service then 1,50 for a black and white printing. ( that's 3,5 pound = 42 MAD ) I asked the guy , which service you want to charge me 2 pounds for ? He said I am going to use my computer and my printer and work for you. Imagine 42 MAD to print an 4×4 black and white paper. In Morocco it costs you 0, 30 MAD 😅😅😅 My sincere respect to the British people.
