I know! Half of the cats that I have had just loved boxes. 😍
Mine loved the empty grocery bag.
Every video when the cat points to his mouth when he wants to be fed makes me laugh each and every time. If my cat could do that believe me he would.
The two human adults in our cats' household make this same gesture to indicate their own hunger; I usually include a fair imitation of Simon's Cat's vocalization. Our cats are probably a bit disdainful of their staff's sophmoric behavior, but they tolerate us with good grace.
My two owners (cats, of course) had indicated when they wanted MY coffee, not in their bowls, but from my cup and they were quite clear about THAT! Anyone who's been owned by a cat knows what they mean as clearly as Simon understands his cat(s). Felines and humans have a long communication history. THEY are the royalty and WE are the servants. It's as clear as THAT. And so it goes!
My sons cat has her own tactic...mowing at early hours UNTIL son HAS to get up n feed her just to get some peace..& cats tactic for when he's home from work, winding between his legs, (still meowing frantically)..& almost tripping him up. We literally lol when he tells me what his cats been up to. 😂😺
When my boyfriend is hungry, he points to his mouth & meows- it's hilarious.
Same here, it just never gets old : )
Simons cat is the highlight of my evenings, laugh out loud relaxation.

My dear friend, watching you and "the cat" is a real comfort during all these recently invented horrors we endure. My sweet lady had to go to cat heaven a year ago (17 years old), and I miss her much. Your vids truly make me SMILE. Much love.

I've been around cats before I could walk and this is so typical of cats. I cried with laughter it was so funny to watch. I buy a Simon Calendar every year. I've got a few mugs as well.
