I remember when this was first announced. We were all in shock.
I got this set back in April for 60 bucks at my local shop. Not too long ago, I was in again and low and behold, they had another copy for 60 bucks! Good deals for this set are out there, people!
Seen one sold for 5 grand on ebay after the scream factory release, i still got my tin release and i also got the scream factory set.
I remember going to Best Buy the day this set was released and buying it. I was surprised when they actually had it in stock at the store because my local store never received anything horror related back then. I think that just goes to show how important this set was.
I found this at Best Buy almost a week before it was supposed to be released.
They must have put it out by mistake. I was actually able to price match WB Shop for like $10 less as well.
I used to display this set on a bookshelf and my then four year old daughter would always turn it around because the Jason on the front scared her.
I eventually bought the Scream Factory set, but I will always keep the tin set in my collection as a backup and because it looks sick as hell.

Im in the uk and imported this as soon as it came out. Watched this box set so many times its now a bit bashed and dented. Had it signed by Ari not long after i got it, so will always keep it.
This is by far my favorite Jason set.

This set came out when I was in high school, the ONLY period where I sort of fell off of collecting so I missed out buying this one on the initial run.
Watched Piz's video of the unboxing and watched it be a hot collectible for the years up until we got the scream factory set and actually just found it a few weeks back at Amoeba music in LA, brand NEW for dirt cheap! All the contents were laid out just as I had watched repeatedly in Piz's vid, with all the discs still perfect despite being housed in those sleeves. Really felt satisfying to find my own and fill that spot in my F13 collection for the historical value. Great timing on this vid, buddy!!!
This set will always be a favorite in my collection one of my first pre orders as well as one of my first box sets will always have a special place on my shelf

I almost sold mine off when I got the Scream Factory set but I figured I'd keep them both. Don't regret the decision

I found this brand new in 2018 at a local annual car show in the car part swap meet section for $30 asked the guy if hed do $20 met in the middle at $25. Brand new everything there.
I remember when it came out in 2013, but I didn't get it until October 2015 when Best Buy had a great deal on it for $60. I don't think it ever went lower than that. I did store pick up on it since it was only available for that. I drove the 35 or so miles to the Best Buy I frequent to pick it up. We had also just had a major rainstorm, but luckily there were no flooding issues, and I was really happy to finally pick up the complete blu-ray collection.
I looked up that set and on Amazon it's crazy expensive. I won't say here but you can look it up. But worth it if you're F13 collector and you have the money. I do not but I wish I did! I'm curious how much you paid in 2013. Have a great week man.

Awesome video Planet CHH hope you're well my awesome friend . I really wish I had this release 😢 its the only Friday the 13th set I don't have . but at least I got the scream factory set and I don't have the disc issues because I get mine after the disc problems where fixed lol 😂 .
As a Friday the 13th fanboy, I would love to own this collection. Friday the 13th will always be the most fun for me to collect. Thanks for another great video, CHH.

I didn't have this, I had the now legendary Crystal Lake to Manhattan box set. I also had the even more legendary NOES box set from that period. I pawned them both, but don't worry, I feel good about it. 😢

I remember some of the discs were scratched and they let me open another one at Best Buy to switch them out.
Great ultimate Friday release. Yeah I bought it brand new on release day but I can't remember where, either best buy or wal-mart. Didn't buy the shout release and I don't think I do?
I remember being at a mall about an hour away from me the night before it was released I went into the Best Buy for shifts and giggles and there was a day early I was like holy shit I think was $ 99.99
So, what you´re trying to say is that if you have to sell anything from your collection the first thing to go will be this collection.

Sadly I really regret not picking up this set when it came out I believe my friend bought it and I think it came with a replica hockey mask but I'm not sure after you just showed this set I want to try and find it but it won't be easy I know Orbit DVD did have a used copy of the boxset but I don't know if they still have it
Does anyone know if there’s any truth to the Scream Factory versions being improperly cropped? There was one youtuber who made a video about it and he said that the tin set release has the proper aspect ratios.
I have to be honest about this. I skipped the tin set. There was something about it that made me not want to get it. I instead decided to get the Scream Factory Blu Ray set. I thought it looked way more cooler.
But do you still have the Camp Crystal Lake "Counselor" iron-on patch?
I own both this and the Scream Factory boxset the Scream Factory release is better but I still like the tin of this one hence why I will never part with it
