Great video and sweet car! The editing got me a couple times more than I thought so kudos on that. I've got a '98 GT myself and though I have never felt the stock shifter since mine already had a Hurst shifter in it when I bought it, I can safely say that from what I saw in this video, the throw certainly is shorter than stock and feels really good. You should get some use out of those cupholders lol. I didn't realize there were different styles of center consoles, as mine does not have the twin cupholders. I have a single cupholder that folds out of the armrest which incidentally makes shifting pretty horrible even though it's slightly further back than where yours are. Mostly because you have to contort your arm over the cup. While mine it technically useable, I often wonder if there even exists a convenient spot for a cupholder in these cars. Also, imo the 4.6 2V has the best sounding exhaust note of any car ever. That may be a bold statement but I will die on this hill. My exhaust setup is decently loud but it's not noisy and/or obnoxious. I've had a few V8s and though some have sounded and performed really good, nothing scratches my itch quite like this car. Pretty slow overall but makes ALL the right sounds. Good luck with the channel! I'll be watching for your next installment of this series.
Nice car man, that was my first Mustang! I daily drove mine. Always daily driven all my mustangs as my only car too. Still do after 10 years! I have a Terminator now still daily driven
I’ve drive mine for 10 years now across America twice and has 200k miles Mines the 5.0 94 gt The 4.6 originated as a concept in the thunderbird to test reliability it was the same hp and tq I put a 2.5 inch summit exhaust on it an off road X pipe and bbk shorties for fitment These are also not jdm style lol the design team went after the original 1964 mustang with the cockpit interior These are actually fox bodies as they all share the same platform with the fox’s but stretched I believe 3 inches So don’t let anyone tell you it’s not a fox Also there’s 3 ways to tell if it’s a 5.0 or a 4.6 by just looking outside of it! 1: the emblem is different for 4.6 2: the side skirts are different and 4.6’s have a little built in mud flap in front the doors 3: tail lights are horizonties instead of verties Also the 94-98 convertibles have extra X brace under the car to help with rigidity and it fits any mustang GT They can also come with 3.11 gears if factory ordered don’t just assume you have 2.73’s 😅 There was a police unit concept made and they shipped out 5k to various departments to try before ultimately losing the contract.. those units have factory transmission coolers unlike normal GT’s and I have one 😅 my autos lasted 200k And there was actually 1500 or so SVO models made for 94-95 I have the upper and lower intake and aluminum heads on mine Also a GTS version with no stereo or power seats or windows and no fog lights very rare car even came in auto too 😅 I’d suggest these but once you get one there addictive
I’d like to see you swap out the stock drive shaft to a driveshaft shop aluminum one piece drive shaft, I did that on my scion frs and it was a huge upgrade imo
And use probolt USA titanium nuts and bolts for the rear differential connection, swapping the bolts can save close to another pound of rotational mass off the driveshaft
Yes you can daily an sn. What do you think we did 20 years ago when there wasnt anything newer than the sn? Lol. I know its an older car now but no reason they cant still be dailied just fine if you maintain it and take care of it.
About 400 horsepower more lol about 35 or 40 more like it. I love the sn95 bodystyle but it isn't a great performer. I have own numerous mustangs over the years.
No you don't need an airbag. Mustangs didn't even have them till 1990 on the driver side. Ppl got along just fine before they started packing all this bs into cars. Just like ppl asking if you can daily an sn why couldn't you? What do people think we did back in the 2000s when there wasn't any 2020+ vehicles around? Lol

That 4.6 has such an old school sound like a throaty tunnel sound
Sn95’s getting love rn and I’m all for it!
Nice car man, that was my first Mustang! I daily drove mine. Always daily driven all my mustangs as my only car too. Still do after 10 years! I have a Terminator now still daily driven
It’s worth it tbh I’ve had my 98 cobra for a year now just had to replace the clutch and it’s ran good 🙏🏾 great car
Still rocking my ‘98, that I got brand new in 1998. 1 owner club baby!!!!
I’ve drive mine for 10 years now across America twice and has 200k miles
Mines the 5.0 94 gt
The 4.6 originated as a concept in the thunderbird to test reliability it was the same hp and tq
I put a 2.5 inch summit exhaust on it an off road X pipe and bbk shorties for fitment
These are also not jdm style lol the design team went after the original 1964 mustang with the cockpit interior
These are actually fox bodies as they all share the same platform with the fox’s but stretched I believe 3 inches
So don’t let anyone tell you it’s not a fox
Also there’s 3 ways to tell if it’s a 5.0 or a 4.6 by just looking outside of it!
1: the emblem is different for 4.6
2: the side skirts are different and 4.6’s have a little built in mud flap in front the doors

They can also come with 3.11 gears if factory ordered don’t just assume you have 2.73’s 😅
There was a police unit concept made and they shipped out 5k to various departments to try before ultimately losing the contract..
those units have factory transmission coolers unlike normal GT’s and I have one 😅 my autos lasted 200k
And there was actually 1500 or so SVO models made for 94-95 I have the upper and lower intake and aluminum heads on mine

I’d suggest these but once you get one there addictive
Love the video!! I have a 98' Cobra Convertible. These cars are a ton O' Fun!!
The scream with the headlight switch got me good. 🤣🤣🤣
It’s a perfect daily… Unfortunately I love them too much to leave them in a parking lot to get door dinged and sun damage..
great video and awesome car!
Love the editing bro 😂
I love you bro
Yes, these are extremely reliable cars.
Picin up an sn95 vert woth 124k on it monday cant wait
That’s awesome! I love this car

And use probolt USA titanium nuts and bolts for the rear differential connection, swapping the bolts can save close to another pound of rotational mass off the driveshaft
To be fair sn95/new edges are pretty light compared to modern stangs not foxbody light but still 3100-3400 lbs that’s similar to a corvette’s weight
Yes you can daily an sn. What do you think we did 20 years ago when there wasnt anything newer than the sn? Lol. I know its an older car now but no reason they cant still be dailied just fine if you maintain it and take care of it.
Thank-you man : ireallymismyold1994 5.0 said yours 4.6 whatyearrareUsir? I would say95-98??Sir amiiright? Indeed another 1994thankssir
I drive a white 98 just like that but the interior is black
Lowering springs
About 400 horsepower more lol about 35 or 40 more like it. I love the sn95 bodystyle but it isn't a great performer. I have own numerous mustangs over the years.
I drive my 95 5.0 5 speed everyday
Likewise, purchased mine from the original owner with only 54,000 miles
I would leave the steering wheel alone everyone needs an airbag
No you don't need an airbag. Mustangs didn't even have them till 1990 on the driver side. Ppl got along just fine before they started packing all this bs into cars. Dont do a hurst do an mgw and thank me later. Steeda and pro 5.0 are both better than hurst dont do a hurst.
I like how the hurst looks and feels, why is the other brand better?
The 5.0 sounds better.
Disagree the 4.6 sounds every bit as good if not better.
Are you referring to the coyote or 302? Everyone says 5.0 talking about coyotes as if there wasn't an old 5.0 even in this very body style.
@@midnight347im sure hes talking about the winsdor 5.0s. I think they sound better than the coyote or 4.6
