Is it just me or does this stream have an abnormally high amount of ads? Watching him sort the books was like watching one of those mobiles game ads where someone plays the game so bad it pisses you off and compels you to buy the game to prove it isn't as hard as they make it look.
Thankfully I had house flipper on game pass because after watching him play, it implanted an itch into my brain I couldn’t scratch unless I played the game myself
not to be over dramatic but having the game in the background as ambient noise was actually quite nice. the second I started watching him actually solve the puzzles made me want to turn inside out.
Jerma is the ultimate playtester. Developers should send their games to him to find out what parts are even mildly ambiguous or confusing. For instance, he got confused on how to properly line the keys up in the puzzle with the keys, so they should’ve put little hooks there to hang them on so he knew what spots they could be placed in.
My favorite part is at 2:47:13 where he fumbles the end of the puzzle for four minutes straight, all whilst repeatedly gloating that he's finished it and owned the doubters, proudly smiling at every false victory
i ended up taking a nap to this stream and at one point i sorta woke up and saw him sorting the books and then, what felt like 30 min later, woke up again to see him still doing it. can't believe it was only 15 min

Jerma had the right idea with the some puzzles can be solved multiple ways thing, pretty sure that's what the multiple stars at the end of some puzzles means, like the dishes stacked one could have been organized by the cracks in the bowls or the pattern on the bowls, and the spoons could have been length wise OR stacked on each other as examples... neat game added to my wishlist

this is absolutely terrible but i love how he is just a himbo trying to chill while everyone watching is pissed off and frustrated at him. I feel so hopeless watching him struggle and drop the same item in the same wrong spot over and over and hes just like :^)
game design student here! some of the puzzles in this game are great, but some of them do a shit job of leading the player toward the solution and don't follow the expectations the game has already set, which can be super frustrating as a player if there's not an indication of *how* the rules need to be broken to solve the puzzle. that's why the squiggly line designs are so frustrating to jerma-- the game shows you that you need to connect them, and then decides that they're just visual flair, and back again.
i was thinking this as well! and like i know nothing abt game design but the way that some levels had a “ding!” when you put something in the correct spot and other levels didn’t? which i get it’s probably because they have multiple solutions for some of them i think,,,, but it’s still a very bizarre decision imo
I took issue with the first puzzle where you had to get rid of objects by tossing them off screen. Would've taken me forever to figure out, since that was a good few puzzles into the game. I assumed it was purely about arranging all the objects it gives you.
On the +2 charts, Jerma averages about 2-3k per stream, 4-5k on a good day. This stream got a score of -40, with most of the -2s coming from 1:03 - 1:17. Career ending stream.
