bro some teachers really do be wild.. they could literally just discuss one lesson like “what’s an atom” and what appears on the test is “explain the entire existence of the universe using the mass of the sun”
You know I also see adds that say still using youtube for help? But I have been watching this guys videos for years now and he explains it way better than the way I am taught so yes I will always use youtube specifically Brian McLogan for help!!! 10/10 make sure to watch his videos
I finally realized that to solve such problems, one must know the numeric values of the trig functions for the given angles -- after which it's mere algebra. If you don't have an appropriate calculator, the values are available in tables. (Who made those tables?) I recently read that trig was used by the Ally POWs in The Great Escape, to determine the distance outside the barbed wire they would have to tunnel to reach the woods. That would be a great example to give to high school students, on the first day of trig class.
what buttons do you press on the calculater when you type in your inverse Cos, Sin, and Tan? I have a TI-83 calculater and im doing the problems youre doing and the wrong answers are popping up.
If I were to have a problem that had me find both the theta and the other angle like x is theta then you have your 90 and then I needed y how would I go about that
Walmart will only pay for degrees or certificates that relate to working at Walmart. They have a variety of degrees that are in-scope but almost positive they are not going to pay for nursing.
I don’t know how to plug that in to my calculator. I’d like to know how to do this without a fancy calculator with my brain or at least what buttons to hit. I just need the angle for a project but everyone uses a calculator and doesn’t explain how to use the stupid thing. Not fresh out of high lol it’s been a couple of decades.
Please specify that you are working with a right-angle triangle. I wasted time watching the whole thing assuming you'd address 'triangles' as you said.
I am actively losing it and this video is not on the test so why the FUCK did google show me this video as if it was what I was looking for. I'm giving up on this school shit.
Thank you so much, my teacher didn't even bother covering this and it was on a test.
you are very welcome! happy to help!
bro i’m about to have a test tomorrow and she never covered this as well😭
@@gavinknazavich mine too 😭

@@benmemon dang this is an old ass comment, I’m done high school, university and I’m working a full time job now lol
This video is a decade old, but its timeless! Super helpful thanks so much!
12 years and still relevant today thank you
true
Soo true
thanks
😮 SIRRRR YOU ARE AMAZINHG, I'M FAILING SO BAD AT AMTH BECAUSE I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE LESSONS BEFORE YOU CAME INTO MY LIFEEEEE THANK YOUUUUUU

This is really helpful for me. I've been struggling about this and thanks to this video, it helped me a lot. Thank you So much!!

I'm building a pergola with a slope. This helped a ton to find the angle of slope! Thank you brought me back to trigonometry days ♾️
the best explanation so far i have heard from everyone my teacher explained not very clearly tysm :)!!
Happy to help!!
Thank You Sir. I am in 7th class still I can understand this with your explaining methods.
*Great tutorial*, cleared up some confusion for me.
+DanTheCakeMan perfect, happy to be able to help!

Hey! Make sure your calculator is in degree mode first of all.
Thanks man this helped a lot! I never really understood how to do this until I saw your video!
Thanks for the tutorial, i needed it for a knowledge check on aleks
good math XD
Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks bro your the best
I wish I had this guy
2:59 we like you too lol thanks this really helped!!
haha cheers!
Love from India ❤️❤️❤️🇳🇪
Cheersp
U fool u used the flag of niger
I am an Indian too 🇮🇳

Thank you so much
Pls, Can this be solved without trigonometry and use only geometry?
Thx
Sir Is it possible to find the angle of a triangle using only measurements ?
Well taught, thank you
You are
Very welcome!
thanks a lot
What if u don’t get the same answers
thank u sm tomorrow i will have a exam

Thnx
tysm, very helpful :3
Love you man :)
how are these numbers coming out of your calculator
mine evaluates sin^-1 (72/97) as 0.836448659158, not 47.9.
thank you this really helped me :)
Thank you sm I’m doing a paper and this has really helped🖤
What’s cool to think about is how we’re all 1 in a thousand people rn
What if there isn't a right angle in the triangle and it's only an isosceles trig bcz of the lenghs
Would need to use law of cosines
What the hell is "Inverse Tangent" and "Inverse Sine?" How do you figure those?
3:01 thanks!!! i feel like my old maths teacher teches me then punish if we talk😊😊
Sir can I know which school you are working in
3:41 DO NOT ABBREVIATE THE DECIMAL.
4:02 I'm just gonna abbreviate. 🤣
after 12 years your looks like young man🤗
I guess this is where I use sin tan cos from the calculator

About 15 seconds into the video he specified that this only works on right angled triangles. He did clearly state it early on
Lol i do not want to be mean but that reply was hilarious and true 😂
What is the inverse?
this video is older than me😢
Why are you here
