I ride my scooter between 35-40mph. I changed the wheel size to 9.5 in order to get my display accurate. My top speed on my wolf warrior X is 45mph. I work night shift so I have full RGB lights under the deck, turn signals, and 150 lumen red light on my backpack. I was pulled over 1 time in 3yrs riding my scooter, and I had to explain to the officer that I am classified as a bike in my state. He had no idea, then the conversation switched to him asking price/speed/ where to buy. So he was a cool cop, but your experience will vary if you get a dick cop.
HELLO I'M NOTOROUS IRBY IN NEWARK NEW JERSEY BRO JUST RELAX YOU IS DOING FINE ITS YOUR FIRST TIME YOU IS RIDING A ESCOOTER ONCE YOU GET USE TO AND GET THE FEEL OF THE SCOOTER AFTER A FEW TIMES YOU WILL LOVE IT MY SCOOTER GOES 80+90 MILES BUT THE SPEED YOU IS DOING YOU WILL SEE WHAT IM SAYING WHEN GET THE FEEL OF IT YOU WILL WANT TRUST ME YOU IS GOING TO LOVE IT
Getting here early for the good vibes! Love your vids, I’m down right now and can’t ride my e-bike so I’m living vicariously through your videos 😂
You can actually sue the council or federal government if you get injuries caused by a pothole
Not if your vehicle is not street legal.
@@jeremiahmatthewgreatmanofpeacescooters are street legal and bikes
@@MrPandaFTWs they're not street legal unless they're able to be registered and insured. Class 3 ebikes and above can be street legal if they have all of the lights and pedals like a moped.
@@MrPandaFTWsscooters that weigh more than 100 pounds and/or go more than 20mph are not street legal.
I like the fact youre doing an e scooter review! Ebikes are the main ride but the escooter is such a fun alternative. The stance and the hands will become normal when riding regularly. Great work bro!
i just gotta get my scooter reviews up because they don't seem to do well on the channel yet. i need more experience
@@MrCentralDriver I'm confident you will 🙏
The super bright lights on these escooters is because you're in danger when you can't see the ground you're headed towards since the wheels are 10 inches. I usually point it downwards and add a small led up top for visibility at height.
I bought a version one used, I am 200lbs and gps at 39mph with a low front tire. My speedo is in KPH. Crazy the differences.
Other than the Razor that one of my kids rides, I don't know much about scooters. But they do seem to have some better tech available than a lot of Ebikes. Hope you get some more for us to see
I cant believe you’re taking that thing everywhere I’d be so scared going over bridges or highways I live in a smaller city but it’s jam packed with stuff around kinda like Tokyo this will be perfect for me to go to walking trails and into the city ordered one last month waiting until they restock to get one! 🎉
Bend your knees , place right foot forward followed by left spread foot placement at 45° with deck , turn with ankles . counter steer once pitched over 20°.😊
This scooter looks more amazing for off roading, for city riding and commuting you can get nearly similar speeds with the Pegasus that weights less at 66 lbs and you can also get a seat for it and it’s $500 less. I have the Falcon and I’m excited for the Pegasus that I just ordered and I look forward to this one someday in the near future.
Check the wheels after you get it, my 9" Pegasus I received 3 days ago has a cracked front motor and I dont think it was shipping damange. Luckily varla sent me out a new motor the same day, and should get it by tuesday. cant wait to ride it!
@@JC61990 I went out for my first ride in it today it was super awesome! I didn’t see any issues besides the handle bar being so hard and stiff which I read on a comment from someone that theirs came like that and just got softer after much riding. How do you check the motors? I went out for a ride today everything was good no problems I felt or see any error codes. A gage and a nice electronic pump is a must for the 9 inch tires, they are definitely nice and worth it. I wonder why my legs felt more tired after a while on this scooter I also have the Falcon which weights 50 and the Pegasus 66 could it be the weight of scooters the heavier and more battery power under your feet make the legs tired? I don’t know but I can’t wait for the seat to arrive to try it out. Enjoy your Pegasus infinitely!
Your commentary is amazing. Loved the video.
Are you able to put a small rectangle mirror stuck under roof of the rear break light to reflex more of the light coming away? to reflex the current brake light towards the ground and rear.
Fun video as always thanks for the entertainment. See you on the next one.
Thanks 👍
Yup it's exactly the same as my Vsett 11+ It's almost as if it's pulling you with as sudden burst of speed. My best advice is to lean forward before pressing the throttle and hold on firmly tight.
Maybe the filmer in me was trying to lean back most of the time to get the shot and have the scooter in frame while riding.
@@MrCentralDriver Oh right we gotta capture the moments in full. Like Jack Black did in the 2005 movie Kong. And action.
Nice video brother. I have a similar size scooter in the Yumeway Hawk let me tell that thing is FUN! Best decision I have made in my life. Also just a heads up I like riding on the road and all that with traffic, like it keeps up with traffic, but try driving this type of scooter on the sidewalk😂😂
I have a question for you or anyone that knows, I have a 2000 watt motor and a 48 v 40 ah battery it cuts out at about 10 miles but the lights on the batter say I have half, should I get more out of that battery ?
Rain drainage groves cut into the surface of roads where more tire grip can be achieved in rain or wet conditions. You can hear those under your car on occasion.
13:05 ~ Lights are not that bad, seems better than most overall.
67% left after 13.5 miles but as you said, it's reading with voltage sag. So wouldnt that mean that if it was at a stop reading like 35% left, that it probably wouldn't even move, or be about to die? considering it was saying 87% when you left work but 55% when you were moving. IDK seems like you can get more for the same or less money. I see many scooters with 2-3000watt power, duel motors, hydro brakes, full suspension, 28Ah batteries claiming 40-55 mile range and boasting 45-55mph, for less money and great reviews.
Find a thing like that you can add a deck mounted seat post and seat.. I know a guy that has a seat on his and likes it.
What you looking to lock your scooter is a kryptonite lock , not a chain , but a hard Lock
*Bambi*
Every once in a while, shift your weight from 1 leg/foot to the other leg/foot.
It will help the pain alot.
*Legal*
Yes, you can get pulled over. People even gotten DUI on the rental scooters.
Technically, it is street legal up to 30 MPH.
i started doing that
Some scooters come with seats man. So u don't have to stand up. Scooters are legal on the road depends what state you live in. Some states are cracking down on ebikes now because of people. When I'm riding my scooter I like long rides man. I got 50 miles on a scooter before. Scooter tires can be 14inch big. Some scooters can weight 140 pounds too man. Your board don't light up. On my scooter my board and handle bars light up. Great video bro.
yeah im just reviewing this as it came. seat would be nice lol just looks odd
@@MrCentralDriver The scooter u have is a small scooter.
Electric scooter law in California is 15 mph, and must use bike lane if there is one, and certainly no going on 35 mph streets. It's pretty lame but pretty correct. The roads aren't good enough, the riders aren't good enough, the scooters are often not good enough. 10 inch tires on not big enough.
Bending your knees helps a lot
Let's gooo
It's a good scooter but I would add my own handlebar headlight 😊
i love the headlight. i would add brake lights
@@MrCentralDriver I know the headlights is really OK my bad
Seems ur compensating for ur small deck.😂😊
Will you be doing any upgrades on the scooter 🛴🛴?
No it’s gonna be for sale because we got new things coming
Apollo Pro Electric Scooter and your helmet will match like a set 👌
I have an Apollo scooter on order.
When are you going to do a review of the Wired Freedom ebike?
if they send me one id love to review it. or if i can sell some of my current bikes i will order one
@@MrCentralDriver I totally understand. Did you ask them to send you one?
@@princeD1100 no i dont bug companies to send me free products they contact me or i buy them myself
@@MrCentralDriver Oh I see. No worries at all. I totally understand.
I doubt town cops will care but highway patrol will give u hard time iv been pulled over 2 times they just tell me to take side roads not the main
Ride like a sk8 board 🤫👽🤓
Im getting 43mph on mine, did you ever hit that on yours?
Yes
Scooters like that are not street legal in any state. I do ride my Eagle One in light traffic. I never engage traffic lights as a motor vehicle would. I learned to keep mine under 30mph on roads and 15mph on walking trails and sidewalks. The police never give me a second look.
The speed portability and being able to easily store it is making me want a high powered scooter 🛴 like a
Nami Klima Vsett10+ the Roadrunner Pro is nice too but heavy at 115lbs .
Were you charging it at work? You said 88% battery after 7 miles at high speed??
I don’t charge anything at work anymore.
@@MrCentralDriver Hm. I would think at 30 mph the version 2 would get 20 to 25 miles in range, so when it said 88% after 7 miles, that's like 56 miles.
I've gone 5,000 miles on my original eagle one (2,000 on a second battery). The version two is only 2 aH more, and advertised as a 42 mile range, and that'll be at a low speed if my tests on the original mean anything. I got 34 miles in eco mode on single motor on a flat surface with nothing on it, not too much stopping, either. 150 pounds.
California Vehicle Code, Sections 21220 through 21235 cover motorized scooters, which your e-scooter falls under. These fourteen laws are what stand between you and whether or not you participate in the California’s rules of the road safely.
5:35 ~ Not even 5 minutes out of the box...these scooters are particularly dangerous with the overarching center of mass and constant temptation to jump off when in danger...at least for me.
It’s to bumpy to ride a scooter. Be safe
Some streets will depending on where your going. That’s Why I like bikes a bit more.
Doesnt it have side lights and if it does you never showed us...
At the end yes
You can get pulled over if your scooter is faster than what the state rules are. I have a 33 mph e scooter and the police don't give a fuck
yeah they dont care around here
You sound like contradicting yourself too much!
Concentrate on the overall product!
IM 1ST
lol Dude if you're gonna make UA-cam videos, people are going to start reporting you running all these stop signs.
