She's been with someone that does not know how to stay loyal and he lies daily. She left me 7 years ago and I have been single and living alone this whole time; I was single for 2 years before we met in the beginning. (When I'm single. I don't have friends with benefits). The past 5 years I have been working on me. I had a lot of changes I had to make if I wanted to continue living. All my adult life I've battled major depression and cptsd. I'm 51 now and I feel mentally and physically better than I did at 25. Anyway, she wants (her words) "out of the situation she's in." Thursday night she said she wasn't drinking (but I know better). We were talking on the phone and all she could talk about was how I would make her and how she was so happy with me when we were together. I do love her.... I do. In the past I would let her move in... this is always going to be a mistake. Well, this time I told her to get out on her own and for her to do some soul searching. She has a lot of things she needs to work out within herself. She kept saying, you just need to trust me and not to overthink things; I'm not going to hurt you. Again, I I heard was how I would make her the happiest woman in the world. She is so proud of me of everything I have improved in my life. She kept repeating herself and I kept saying, I understand and I would tell her she needed to not worry about me or anyone else; to just focus on her. Finally, I told her, how can I make you happy when you can't even make yourself happy. I said, I can't take a chance with MY happiness by taking on someone that's been in 3 different relationships since me and her was together. I'll tell you how much she was paying attention to what I was trying (so hard) to tell her..... She got really quiet.... a few minutes went by and I heard her snoring...she passed out. She's texted me a couple times but I haven't responded..... I can't....and it hurts me to know she's hurting but I can't help her with problems only she can work out.
