Holy Land Tour Part 4 Jordan & Petra

In Part 4 of the Holy Land Tour, there were many who added an extra excursion. The goal was to see the many biblical places in Jordan, culminating with a day in Petra. Many places had significance to the time of Moses and the Old Testament.
We drove from Jerusalem into Jordan, back down past sea level, and lodged once again at the Jordan Oasis Hotel. The next day, our bus drove to Jordan, and the Israeli border, and changed our bus. Then, the tour bus climbed Mount Nebo, where we visited the Memorial to Moses and the Brazen Serpent sculpture. Also, we saw the beautiful mosaics of the monastery. Driving through town, we stopped at the Tree of Life Hand-craft Center, to see how mosaics are still being made today. Our next stop was Madaba Jordan, and toured the Saint George Orthodox Church, with its ancient mosaics. Afterward, we drove to Wadi Musa, the gateway city to Petra, and stayed the night at the Petra Guest House Hotel, uniquely built into the rock cliffs. The next day, we were ready for our adventure into Petra.
