If its just free lance surfing im watching im all digging all the styles and everyones flow (pro videos that is). IF its competition heats....I personally want Florence to TAKE PPLS HEADS OFF!! And he never disapoints

Been watchin surfin from the late 70s on,that John John fellow is the best I've ever seen.makes baby shit out of those big swells.
He is the best for sure. No one on the planet with his relaxed style and power

JJ has some mass now and the all known talent. Great surfing. I think Kelly and a lot of the guys on tour are too light weighted to do turns like this. It comes down to talent AND physics to pull this kind of surfing off. If you run a bowling ball through water vs a tennis ball which one will belt off the most spray? JJF is a surfing machine can't wait to watch more of his progress.
his turns are reminiscent of a jet ski pulling a wide one. So much power and velocity its a beautiful thing to watch.
check out kelly's 10 point ride at margaret river. An in-form Kelly can match john john carve for carve.

I agree. Sometimes Mel gets it right but too many times his lack of vocabulary = strange sounds that a 6 year old will make; if he can work on that it would be a bit better for the viewers.
