How I killed an unwanted/damaged tree using only 1oz of undiluted 41% Glyphosate concentrate..

Now thats how a UA-cam video should be done. No intro music or channel promotion just straight to the info you want to share. 👍👍👍👍👍
I miss UA-cam before advertising.
Yes sir
this should be an example to all UA-camrs. No messing around talking about their life goals, and why they called their dog Bojo. Straight facts...no toss

Love this
Hey so I tried this and its not soaking it up on a pine. Been trying to pour it in the hole I made and alltgree holes are showing it is not soaking into the tree
Thank you for this video I just order one, I have a big ass tree in front of my house I complain to hoa about it they continue to ignore me so it’s time to do something about it
I literally had this as an idea wasn't sure it would work
Yeah it works.. Another video, same process:
ua-cam.com/video/k0gZFmSJR2Q/v-deo.html
Im really thankful for this video
Hello, if I'm not mistaken you only made 1 hole in the video. Did you eventually made followup extra holes, or the single one was enough to kill the tree? Pls, reply/confirm, thanks in advance.
For this tree only one hole drilled.. No follow up.. Have another video 70ft pine tree.. Two holes drilled for that.. ua-cam.com/video/k0gZFmSJR2Q/v-deo.html
Do we need to add water or use it directly? Plz reply i have 51 percent glyphosate roundup is not available here
Do not add water.. Use it full strength straight from the bottle..
@@tongo117 Thanks for fast reply.. 😊👍
Can you use Muriatic acid to pour in the hole you drilled?
i'm sure that would hurt the area it contacts but would it kill the whole tree?? don't know..
Acids or salt are less useful and much less ecological, glyfosate is decomposed in soil after some week.
@@herik63 thank you for the info, I appreciate the reply !
x-wife got the house and I got 'er trees!
Thanks heaps mate will be using this method on neighbor, just need the pricks to go away on holidays if they can afford too
Lol 😂
I’ll be using it so I don’t have to pay a tree lopper $20,000 plus whatever bloody council wants to charge.
😂😂😂😂 did you get it done
Same here god bless this video 👍👍👍
Is it dead yet?
@Billy big balls, you stay off my god damn property or ells ! Punk
No need to drill deep - the cambium is all that needs to have herbicide exposure. See also "hack and squirt"
Hey broski. I've had trouble getting rid of pyracanthus. If I apply this to freshly pruned somewhat thick branches would it work?
I know trees are very important for us. But sometimes when you have bad neighbor then, your life become hell because of these trees. Let me tell you something. I live in india and there is a big banyan tree near my house and because of that tree we face so many problems like too much humus, and in winters my house become hell because this tree covered my house two sides and as a result we receive very less sunlight. And during autumn this tree shed so many leaves. I have some allergies because of this humus I have talked so many times with my neighbor but he start fighting with me. So now I will do this method...I hope it will work
If the tree is on his property, how are you going to kill it?
@@worshipthelordjesus458 The place where big banyan tree grown is exactly in front of my neighbor's house and they have a huge family. So currently I am not successful in this task. Drilling holes is not possible in my case because it create noise. So I am looking for different technique.
@@hmdwn Request your neighbor and tell him your problem. If he is not listening to you then go for other methods.. You can also dig a hole near the tree and put chemicals there... May be it works....
@@vermaeducator Buy a hand drill that is made for wood working and does't have a motor. ZERO noise.
I like this technique because there is no mixing with a carrier. It is good you emphasized safe use. I used a variation of it a couple of years ago to kill a large autumn olive tree in our woods which is an invasive here in the Mid-Atlantic USA. I drill several approximately 1 inch holes per trunk with a 3/8" bit several inches apart and will refill a couple of times using Roundup Super Concentrate (50% glyphosate) applied with a plastic syringe. Doing three more now, started a couple of weeks ago in late April and clearly seeing effects. I prefer large specimens of this particular tree species to be completely dead with no leaves before cutting down and replacing with natives in late summer/early fall. We discovered dozens of sapling size autumn olives had infiltrated our small meadow when we moved in, no doubt as a result of the large ones in the nearby woods border. I just cut off and apply the herbicide to the sapling cut stems.
Thank you, I’ve two 50ft plus willow trees, whilst they can look beautiful one out front is damaging our house and cars, the one out back blocks light an fills garden and pool with debris resulting in 10 plus bags of debris a week. Both shed a branch this year having both trimmed at a cost of £700 each... After years of hell with these we’ve drilled a few holes 12 inches deep filling them with Gallup 360. Sad to say it’s exciting 👍👍👍
Sod what the tree huggers say, they don’t live with the dangers, damage and extreme maintenance some trees cause
Hi - can I ask did this work using the Gallup 360? Thanks
Mark O yes it did, took another dose of 50ml after 2 weeks as no noticeable effect but then over the following month they died off... thankfully I’ve had such an easy summer not continuously clearing up and going to have a few years of free heating.
I should of done it years ago as they became depressing with damage and debris caused from them.
But they're your trees, so why kill them? It's easier to fell a live tree. But hey...Darwin etc...
Good deal - Have 2 problem trees that are a threat to the house. I like trees but these are going...
I have a tree like that and I need it to die also, but it somehow seems sad to see that one die like that; not sure why. I would rather cut mine down and deal with it that way, but it's not convenient right now to do so. I will probably try this method anyway.
You really opted to kill a tree humanely? Wtf lmfaooooo
Many thanks for this , used same product and after 10 days I am starting to see browning of leaves , at this rate ill be raking my yard in August
Glad to help.. Thanks for reply..
@Madhav Raina No water
@Madhav Raina no
I use 4 oz of remade herbicide with one gallon diesel oil and it works very well.
Pure evil!!! Killing a tree, wtf is wrong with you,🤬🍑???
Very effective. Done this for years. Going 5 inches is not necessary. I generally still 3 holes around the tree about 2 inches deep. I know it works on maple, sweet gum, pine, oak, and cherry.
thanks, good to know it works on pine.. i have one in mind to try this on.. and a water oak.. and i'll do multiple, more shallow holes..
@@tongo117 Folks use the “hack & squirt”. I call this the “drill & fill”. I think it works better.
I tried hack/squirt using this Glyphosate.. Didn't work.. Gonna get some Tordon RTU and see if hack/squirt works with that..
@@tongo117 it will. Pure gly has worked good for me on oaks and cherries with hack and squirt.
will it work with big mangos trees, circumferences of the tree is almost 200 cm
Thanks for showing what happens over time instead of just putting it in and ending the video. Gonna do this because I want to leave some dead trees up for woodpeckers and other wildlife
It is unusual to help wildlife by killing trees
I hit trees with it on a weekly basis to really kill it quick. I have a lot of camphour laurel in my property. It is a noxious weed here in Australia.
I just use a plastic sauce bottle & squeeze!
Use fresh glyphosate!!! I first used some from a 5 yr old jug that I had got a deal on. The trees were only half dying after several treatments. I then used some from a fresh jug and BAM, those trees were completely brown in no time!! I emailed the company and they said the shelf life is around 5yrs.
Good to know.. Thanks for the info..
Great straightforward video. Thanks
1st class , straight to the point
Great video so simple and down to the point! thank you
Glad to have helped..
I've got a nasty overgrown suckers on a palm tree that i'm going to try this on. Very good video, straight to the point, direct, with clear instructions.
I had a palm tree chopped Dow last year. I've just seen some shoots growing..Will be trying this method. Thanks
You are amazing! This is the kind of video we want to see, the before and after! I have 3 blackhaw viburnum trees about 15-18 ft tall. I planted it in 2006. I am extremely disappointed that it created new trees from its spreading roots! SIGH! As of today, I think the number of 2-3ft young shoots/trees I saw were around 70! Damn! Yesterday, I tried manually removing them. It took me 1.5 hrs to remove 5 young 2-3ft trees. The roots are so freaking strong! LOL. Thank you for this technique!
You are welcome.. Hope it works for you..
Thanks with proof
Very Bad.
I don’t have access to the tree itself but I do have access to its roots. Can I drill into its root system & pour in the product? Will it kill it that way?
I did this before I even looked online to see if it was a thing. I used a regular, thick drill but and drilled 4 downward holes on one side of a black walnut tree and used a dropper to fill the holes with 50% concentrate. After I did it, I was like, let me look online to see if it was a thing lol. And sure enough, hit after hit came back. Your video was listed first I believe. Anyway, within 5 or 6 days after I did it, the side of the tree I did it on was nearly totally defoliated. But the other side of the tree still looks almost normal save for a slight bit of wilting. So will that side of the tree eventually catch up to the other, or will I have to do it on that side of the tree as well? I'd prefer not having to do the other side of possible.
It should kill the other side also.. Just have to be patient.. Mine took 2 months to fully die out.. Limbs have long since fallen off but trunk is still standing 4 years later..
Where can I buy this chemical..

Funny i bought the same exact stuff down to the bottle you have so I can kill weeds. Nice to know I can kill a tree also.
Then what the tree is dead and it looks like an eye soar different eye soar from before you killer it. To me this doesn't make sense.
The best video on this matter! Thank you
Glad to help.. Thanks for reply..
Nice content. Keep up bro. 👍🙏🙏
Excellent video. I got 360g/litre glysophate. Going to try 50/50 solution with water.
Ive done this for years...it works. Its a bit quicker using a 60 cc syringe to draw up the round up......and go buy a long IV needle at a farm store 6 " inches long.... dull the point so you dont poke yourself.....put the needle the full depth into the hole.....otherwise the remaining air in the hole wont allow the Round Up to enter. In larger trees.....say up to 3 ft diameter I will drill three holes evenly spaced around the tree. Allows for a quicker result.......death ! For smaller trees....consider " Pathfinder II " Its a basal treatment 100% effective....also works on multi-floral rose !
Got it.. Thanks for the tips..
We have a massive trees in neighbours garden.
How many holes do I have to drill?also the depth of the hole since its a huge tree.
YOU don't have a massive tree. Your neighbour's do. leave it alone.
How much oz of Glyphosate is needed to kill a tree having 2.5 ft in diameter?
Since glyphosate is so cheap I would suggest drilling 2-3 holes to be sure..
Yes try at least drilling 3 holes.
@@hairymanonetwo Will it works for big trees whose diameter is almost 250 cm
2.5 gallons of Glysophate for $22?! Wow, it’s like $120 now. lol
I’ve got a 100 year old large tree in my garden despite the tree being old and prefers g to preserve it it’s doing more damage financial wise then worth it to save the tree It’s destroying all my garden fencing causing me thousands a year to fix and killing my lawn blocking the sunlight not to mention when it’s autumn all the leaves that pile up in my garden here in the uk we have laws that protect these trees the council here in the uk got laws to protect the tree but im willing to take the risk of a fine at this point still be cheaper than the amount it will cost me over the next couple years to maintain the damage it’s causing I’ll plant 2 new small trees in it’s place because this tree is round 5 times thicker than the 1 in the video would I need to use more of this product?
I'm honestly not sure.. 1oz (29.57ml) has worked for me twice.. Second time killing much larger pine tree.. Link to that video is below.. Just be careful about the limbs eventually falling because they will.. And the trunk of the tree killed in this video is still standing 5 years later.. ua-cam.com/video/k0gZFmSJR2Q/v-deo.html
If you don’t like the appearance of a tree with a broken top, I’d imagine you’d like the appearance of a dead tree with a broken top, so why not cut it down. I imagine you will but you made no mention of your intent to do that. I would have cut down first then do the drilling and glyphosate injection afterwards, if I was concerned about it bouncing back or the whole purpose was what the roots were a nuisance to property. Just curious.
No way to drop this tree without damaging the many desirable Camellia plants that surround it.. Tree also provided too much shade for them.. Limbs have long since fallen.. Only thing left is trunk which I plan to let fall as it will..
U killed a tree man ....oh god
If I drill the tree and anti weed liquid into the tree. Will the tree fall down by itself?
Yes.. It took 1.5 years for the limbs to fall and even now (5 years later) most of the trunk still stands..
This is follow up video: ua-cam.com/video/4bp4nTYHDDA/v-deo.html
You still have to cut it down to remove any “widow makers”, so why not cut it down & drill several holes & apply the liquid tree killer?
Your method worked in the spring contrary to what I've read. Maybe because you used a stronger concentration, a larger volume of Glyphosate and applied it deeper into the tree. So, I'm just going to go ahead and try it now instead of waiting until fall. Glad I found you!
I read the same.. Objective is to kill roots.. Fall, tree sends energy (sap) to roots.. Spring, tree sends energy (sap) to limbs/leaves.. Where the sap goes, the Glyphosate goes.. But, I applied last May and it worked.. I drilled roughly 1/3 into the tree.. 16" diameter with 5 1/4" hole..
Any time of the year works......might take longer .....but always use " pure " round up ! Its cheaper anyway.
@@tongo117 Well, as a follow-up, I tried it on some trees that were blocking my view and it worked GREAT! Except I used a 1inch drill bit and they died twice as fast as yours. Can i use this method for big cocunut tree? Answer please............
Glyphosate is a non-selective herbicide.. Meaning it should kill anything/everything.. So yes, it should work on your coconut tree..
Try Eucalyptus tree
Experts say you should do this in fall/winter. Reason is spring/summer liquid flows upward while fall it goes downward to the roots and kills them
Awesome video!
Can't buy glyphosate anymore!

How to kill coconut tree without cuting in faster way
Would this work on a copper beech tree?
It should work, yes.. "Glyphosate is a non-selective herbicide, meaning it will kill most plants. It prevents the plants from making certain proteins that are needed for plant growth. Glyphosate stops a specific enzyme pathway, the shikimic acid pathway."
@@tongo117 thank you very much 😊
why not cut the tree? I don't get it, poisoning should weaken the tree, and then what?
The tree was surrounded by Camellias in every direction so if cut down at the base it would have crushed many of them.. It took about 1.5 years for all of the limbs to fall.. Now over 4 years later only thing left is a section of the trunk..
Why not just cut the tree down? You're going to have to do that anyway, now that it's dead.
The tree is/was surrounded by Camellias in every direction so if cut down at the base it would have crushed many of them as it fell.. If I hired someone to do it piece by piece it would have been very expensive as it is/was 200' from bucket truck access.. Limbs have long since fallen.. I use the same method with one exception I drill a hole in the base of the tree or into a root if possible. The tree is dead in a week. I dont even use an oz I think that is alot of concentrate.
Good to know.. My first time doing this.. If there is a next time I'll try using less and drilling lower..
