I just use rubber cement. I also will poke a nail though the center and put it in a Dremel then spin it and I use a nail file to shape it. Works great

If you sharpen that brass tube with a round file it will make a much more efficient cutter. I made steel ones for my drill and they work wonderfully. Thanks for the tips those poppers are expensive! All the best. Sean
