Great job! I just love making toys for little ones! However I've never made a grasshopper! I might give that a shot! Many blessings to you, and your Channel!
+Super Make Something Thanks bud! It's awesome because these liquid watercolors have really bright and beautiful colors. But I applied two coats of polyacrylic over to seal it.
Great video Cris! Very nice and dynamic explanation. Keep up doing more and thanks for the effort despite your congestion, my friend. Hope your are well. Love it the grasshoppers!
Great build using Marc's template. I love when one maker is inspired by another maker. Good use of the CNC machine too!. Your videos are well edited and fun to watch. Great all around!
great video! the voice-over is super precise and informative! i will definatly make one of these soon. thanks, cris. keep it up!! merry christmas my friend!
+Laura Kampf Hey Laura! thank you for being around. I would love to see your take on this project and I know who would love the result even more ;) have a great holiday time!
Excellent video as usual. You instruct and entertain every time. Just a thought, couldn't you make the extra hole on the back wheels as part of the CNC process?
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what can I say? awe.so.me! I loved the use of watercolour as dye! great shots and lighting. BUT, take care for your voiceovers :P awesome!
+Cactus! workshop Hehehe, graciaaaassss! Yeah, you can get really vibrant colors in wood with these liquid watercolors :D I'm feeling a bit better, though my voice isn't normal yet.
Thank you so much Get Hands Dirty - great project! I'd like to make something similar for my son, who loves sharks - any ideas on how I could make the "fin" go up and down when the wheels move? Thank you for your great videos!
It looks so great I want to make one. Just need to find some child as an excuse! One thing I was a bit worried about was the antenna bits look like they could come loose and be a choking issue. Did you do something to prevent that?
+John Creasey The antennas are glued with super glue so they won't come off but if the child pulls very strongly they can eventually break. The kid will need supervision like with any toy really... If that happens, you can re-drill the front holes and re-glue the broken antenna or glue a new one. ;)
+giuly pat Hi! Sorry for taking so long but I will answer your questions. The body is nordic pine and the wheels are made of mahogany and I also use agba wood sometimes. Thickness of the body is 5 cm and the thickness of the wheels is 1,5 cm. The aluminium rod is 8 mm in diameter and the pins are 5 mm in diameter. Hope this helps!
Great project really like it, I would have make 1 for Christmas but it's too late. Hmmmm I had a question, I have been a subscriber since a while and I really like your hairstyle... I have been growing my hair but I don't know how to raise it properly... So I was wondering if you could make a tutorial for that I would highly appreciate that... I know that its a woodworking channel but your style is really very cool looking 👌
+Adarsh Shamloll Hi Adarsh, it's so cool to see you sticking around! Well, I'm not sure I will make a video about my hairstyle, ahaha, though it might be kinda funny. After shower, I dry my hair with hairdryer normally and apply schwarzkopf osis matt wax (not sponsoring this comment ahaha) to raise and mess it up and then apply some strong hair spray to fix it in place. The whole process usually only takes me about 3 minutes. Hope this helps.
Eu vejo esse seu trabalho a um ano quase que td dia seu trabalho e profissional tbm fiz alguns mas não ficou perfeito como o seu não sucesso moça sim me diz como e o nome das bucha e parafusos que vc usa e onde compra me diria?

good work!!! Can I ask to you the thickness and materials of body and wheels? What type of wood and thickness? Thanks for great video!
Great!! How did you get the beautiful green color for the skinny legs? I also like your stamp, is the same used with regular ink?
+Mio Beato Hi, thanks! I used green Ecoline Watercolor to dye the legs and the stamp is a regular rubber one that I ordered on a local stamps store.
this is soooo cool!
Nice video you sound sick
+DIY Tutorials And More Thanks. Yeah, I am :(
What type of pins were used for the legs?
Hello! What do you use on the antennas?
Very Nice project.
