This was the 2nd song written & produced by Chan & Hyunjin, the 1st one was Red Lights. A TOTALLY different feel in everything than the first one which as you said, caught a lot of us off guard and totally in the feels. I still cry [esp. when I see other crying]. Felix and Changbin singing sooo beautifully [everyone actually], the ad-libs, the falsettos from Seungmin and Chan [his line kills me too]. As for Seungmin's pronouncing of his name, say how ever you feel comfortable with, we know who you are talking about... They do have a song called FAM [Kor. ver.] on their SKZ replay album which might help with that and it is a live concert performance you would enjoy. Its a shout-out intro to all the members, so maybe add that onto the list soon. And as for Red Lights... gurll when you are ready for a little bit of spicy-ness playlist let me know. The boys can delivered that sidedish also and we love to watch..... the reaction of course... 🖖🏽
I plan on checking out FAM with the 2024 guide! Also, I’m so excited for Red Lights and to continue seeing how versatile they are!

Stray Kids have written quite a few songs that are emotional ballads, and some are about mental health issues. Their songs are not only therapy for themselves (writing / singing about things instead of keeping them bottled up), but therapy for a lot of STAYs, too.
A few examples:
If you need a good cry over a lost pet, I **highly** recommend the song, Hold On. Han wrote it and Seungmin originally sang it as a solo. But recently on an episode of their new 2 Kids Show series, Han and Seungmin sang it as a duet and it's stunning. You will definitely need tissues when you listen. Again, this duet is AMAZING.

I have watched the recording session of Megaverse and Cover Me so many times and would love to watch it again with you.
I love everyone’s parts in this song but my favorites are Hyunjin’s parts and Seungmin’s “So Cover Me Now”.
I’m filming it this weekend (so excited for it) along with the 2024 guide!

Han writes many emotional songs as well. Alien, volcano, closer... chans hate to admit is lovely, hyunjins little star, as a group scars, loney st, social path, oh, winter falls... neverending story is a great song as well.
I was travelling on a fully packed train when this album (Rock-star) dropped. Had to listen to it right away. And I have to admit, I started crying on the train when I heard this song.
If you were surprised by this tho, more pain is coming for you in the future.
Some beautiful sad songs like Secret Secret, Lost Me or Silent Cry, Lonely St. or Scars (Make sure to listen to Secret Secret and Silent Cry together, the lyrics reflect ach other). And also just heartbreaking songs like Alien (Han's solo) and Streetlight (Changbin's solo)

This song is beautiful and it is a chan and hyunjin song as far as credits but the whole group calls this hyunjins song same as they call secret secret han's song. It's like red lights where it is a hyunjin and chan song but chan says hyunjin wrote it as well. For red lights they broke it down as hyunjin wrote the korean lyrics and chan did the conversion/english parts. Taste is another beautiful one of hyunjins that is a danceracha credited song. Watching the behind the scenes of the making of this and watching hyunjin produce and direct is so nice and chan is such an amazing leader to teach, support, and mentor all of them in exploring the production side of being a musical artist. Him as well as JYP have done very well in letting them explore so many facets of themselves.
Love this song. #Lovestay is probably the most emotional Stray Kids song for me. It has a mv if you want to check it out.

Some of their other feely songs would be lovestay (written for the fans), lonely street, streetlight (by changbin), and deep end (written by felix). Deep end really showcases Felix's range, too. He is most comfortable in his deep register, but he can sing higher than you would ever guess😅. Would love to see you react to the recording videos!

Their clam songs are so goood. Haters always say they have lots of noisy songs but they don't checkout whole albums😂 or maybe they can't find other reasons to hate..
My fave song from straykids is Levanter. It is straykids's one of most beautiful songs that most of the baby stays don't know about it. (It has a reason)
Also Deep End by Felix... masterpiece. I am waiting for his other solo songs because he said that the song is ready but I don't know what is wrong with the company...
Other emotional songs are lonely st , leave, FNF, youtiful, Ex, and love stay (watch it when you feel being completely STAY) ......
Other amazing fun songs are charmer, topline, hall of fame, item, domino, cheese, venom, freeze, comflex, the view. .....
**another idea: You can check albums in order. For example you can start from in life or noeasy, then oddinary, maxident, 5 star, rock star. Because every song in these albums are so good. It is hard to recommand songs between these😂😂

Stray kids have really good slower/ballad songs. My favs are Secret secret, Mixtape:OH and Neverending story :) Respirator is also a newer one by Seungmin and Han
Secret secret is such a special song for me, I first listened to it when i was getting into them and having a hard time. I related sm to it 😭 I've cried a lot to it but its very comforting now
Btw 3racha (Bangchan, Han and Changbin) Write ALL skz songs. If its not all three, at least one member will be involved. And frequently other members also write like hyunjin with cover me
The last chorus in cover me gets me SO emotional too, their voices are so pretty

Isn't this the lost beautiful and heart wrenching song?? I've been a STAY for over 2 yrs now, and have heard all of their songs multiple times. I love them all and have my favs, of course. When Rockstar, the album this is on, dropped, I listened to the entire album right away. I listened to Cover Me without knowing the lyrics, and even then, I was instantly fighting back tears. The emotions in their angelic voices! And then, like you, Chan's english verse kicked me in the gut and the tears just started flowing 😭 It is such a relatable song, and of course knowing what the lyrics are, it means even more. This is now my #1 song of theirs. And Seungmin and Chan's cover me now part??? Chef's kiss!
If you feel like getting in your feels some more, definitely check out Streelight, Deep End, Scars, Secret Secret, Silent Cry (listen to Secret Secret and Silent Cry back to back. Han wrote SS when he was not in a great place mentally, and after Chan and Changbin listened to it, they wrote SC as an answer to SS, with Han writing some lyrics as well. It is truly a beautiful representation of how they all love and support each other), and Youtiful. There are more that hit me in the gut, but these are on the top of that list 😅

Also, Recording videos are the best. Other groups do not give such content. It's because they do the songs and recording themselves that we get such a gem.

while it may not have an official music video, they did make a short film type thing (skzflix) that features the song plus a few others from that album (and a ton of lore lol).
cover me and leave (another song in the album/featured in the same video and has kinda similar vibes) have always made me emotional 😭😭 (probably a mix between just the songs themselves and also their associations with the film ha).
but i think the song that’s always gotten me the most is felix’s solo song deep end. the lyrics are soo emotional and hit rlly hard (coming from someone who has also struggled with mental health) and the way he sings it is just 😭😭. would def recommend at some point.
