I was taught double wax. But those spacers seem legit. Going too try em out on the next low flange I run in too. Great vid definitely see the pride in your work.
I definently like that flange to. Seems way more solid without yhe potential to crack or be damaged. I've not seen anyone silicon them together definitely interesting there... only thing I worry bout with the silicon is if it gets loose from chemicals or something.
I just leave the back uncaulked so you can know if it leaks but front and sides should definitely get caulked. I'm real freaked out by doping the tank to bowl gasket tho
There’s that cutoff tool again. I’m telling you, that thing is the truth for installing vinyl plank flooring. I’ve been using it to do my mother in law’s bathrooms.
How do you fasten the spacer to a metal ring PVC flange? The holes on the spacer dont line up, should you pilot hole through the metal ring with a drill to make your own holes?
Hey dude most your videos pretty solid.. I just want to note something I do simply to help us plumbers out. I stopped using the closet supply lines thst have the plastic threads and housing. Seen one split in half two msny times and ruined people home.. hope that helps.
These ones are a sch 80 nut, I’ve only ever seen the old thin plastic ones split. They also don’t keep metal ones on the shelf for me to use. Never had a problem with these before

Appreciate it man

Could you use pvc cement on those spacers?
@@umbasa01 I suppose you would have to check with the manufacturer. These ones are recommended to be installed using silicone

Nice job 👍 really like you beating the peanut gallery to the punch with your narration 😂
Glad you liked it, they are usually hilarious with the amount of “knowledge” they lend out
Hey boy, enjoy watching your work.

This looks like a chair that I could really spend a lot of time on.
Great vid. Would love to know tool list and where to get them from.

Also, try out the Johnny bolts from wolverine brass they are designed to where you don't have to double bolt (just saves time) and time is money
I prefer to double bolt so they don’t spin from the top when you go to unthread them
You forgot to take a big dump to test it out.
You got a video for a tall flange?
Do you like American Standard better or Toto and why?
Love the part where you put on the pipe dope!
I do that out of reverence to the plumber who showed me the ropes. He always did it
👏👍💯 Good job Keep up the good work 🙂
Are you in Orange County California ?
Placer county
Do you have a list ofmyour tool and where to purchase them? Asking for a fiend.
I have a couple in this linktr.ee/replumb
getting that driver
This one’s from Wiha! Any hollow core nut driver is a lifesaver on the toilet jobs
What are those nut drivers called i could use some of those for toilets removing & what size is that?
These are Wiha nut drivers. 7/16ths and 1/2” are the most common toilet bolt sizes in the US. I have them linked here linktr.ee/replumb
Thank the lord we use pan connectors in the UK why on earth you need to mess on like this!!
Remember always wear gloves 🧤 for safety purposes
And remove your high heels so you don’t lose your balance
@@replumb That is just so San Francisco 😆
“Why do you wear gloves?”
God I hate wax rings.
Hey, Boi.....[add you comment here] ;)
Hey boy, you just gonna edit me out the video there boy???!!! 😂😂😂😂
