I'm onto my third 156 V6 - my '02 GTA is my daily driver - so I clearly love them. But the GTA is a world apart from a standard 2.5. Though saying that, had I never found my GTA I would have been perfectly satisfied with the '99 2.5 I then owned. It was the perfect " gentleman's cruiser" - red leather, beautiful engine note, great handling for a nose heavy FWD and timeless styling. The original pre-facelift 156 in any spec is still the best looking sedan of the last 30 years, to me anyway.
Hello John Thank you for the comment. It's interessting to know that you owned 3 Alfa 156 busso. I agree with you that the 3.2 Liter engine is another class. I never have driven a 156 Gta but fortunatly the 147 GTA. I think the Video of the 147 GTA on my channel can also be interessting for you. Have a nice day and enjoy the video.
Hello Mike Thank you for the comment. Yes the busso engine has a beautiful sound also at high rpm. Look also at the 147 GTA on my channel, with the inox sport exhaust. Enjoy and have a nice day.
Ciao Santo. Grazie per l'infomazione. Visto che ti piace la musica del Busso, ti raccomando a guardare anche il Video della 147 GTA sul mio channel. Buona Domenica e saluti Luca
Yes it's very nice to drive with the music of the busso engine in the ears. On my channel is also a video of a 147 GTA, i think you will like it. Have a nice day and thank you for the comment.
A few years ago I worked @ an AR Dealer. So I often drove 156. In my opinion there is a huge gap between the 2.5 and the GTA. The sound of the 2.5 is grrreat, but I ' ve always been disappointed by its performance. I would choose the 2.4 JTD for daily, or a 2.0 TS. And a 147 GTA for weekend...
Hello Thank you for sharing your experience and also for the comment. There is also a video of a 147GTA on my channel. And soon will come a video of the 156 2.0ts. The 156 2.0ts is my dauly driver and does his job very good. Have a nice weekend
Hi Michael, Thank you very much for your comment. The rims are original 17-inch Alfa Romeo rims. I agree with you that lowering the vehicle would have a positive effect both visually and in terms of handling. However, the owner currently prefers the original condition of the vehicle. Have a nice evening.

Nothing more to say!
This easily one of my favourite car designs of all times and it's a modern classic.
Perfect car - have the same FL 1 with wood steering and ragazzon. The sound is amazing over 4000 rpm. It sings

Walter De Silva is Milanese, not Portuguese... A parte questo, bel serivizo su una bellissima macchina. E che musica il Busso!

@@lucadrivechannel ...hi. of course I saw the video featuring the 147 GTA .. :-)
Have a nice WE, too. And enjoy your 156 TS.
Am I right if I say this is 19" rims?
Have it lowered 3-5cm and it´s perfect. Including better handling.
