Thanks for the video. I also noticed that my dividend stocks went up today, despite all my big semiconductor and tech stocks taking a big hit. I'm an American but I lived in Singapore for 5 years in my primary school years. What a fantastic place, Singapore; la! I also started a very small position in United Health based on analyst near consensus buy rating and your previous video calculating intrinsic value, and looking at its price chart history. I bought in at $459 per share. I should have bought more but hindsight is 20-20.
For those asking about SMCI, intrinsic value for this company is 1k in Adam’s past video. So it is under value at this price. Consider DCA

Hi Adam. Seems online intrinsic value calculations are much lower at around 560 base case. Is this accurate? As you seem to have much higher.
What's the intrinsic value for AMD?
Going to add on TSM because it's the only foundry company which produces AI chips. Adding on ASML due to its EUV machine only can produce high tech AI chips. Adding on MSFT because it's a software company which has no inventory or oversupply issue if in future there is an oversupply of AI chips. Adding on visa, because it is a no brain buy as their EPS increases consistently every year. Adding on google, because their industry is almost 0 competition with 90% above market share, EPS increases consistently every year.

SMCI announces earnings on the 30th. Part of the huge drop in stock price Friday was due to the company deciding not to preview earnings last week. At least that’s what I’ve read. And that may have affected NVDA’s price drop in part as well. 🙏 SMCI’s earnings meet their expected ones from last quarter or the stock may really dump more.

Yep regarding TSLA recently Elon said that he's not comfortable in developing non-EV AI tech inside TSLA, cos he doesn't have full control of the company. He may develop new tech IPOing different companies, so I would be very careful regarding TSLA's growth narrative when it's going to rely solely on EV market.
I agree that at these prices you're still buying "hope" on Tesla and that it's not a buy from a value investing perspective.. But the company has so much disruptive potential that I've been really tempted to open a speculative position (about 1%). But Adams VMI course is how I learned investing and I haven't been able to get myself to buy something above the price of the dcf calculation... But I really don't know if a dcf is the proper way of valuing a stock like Tesla..
You need to understand that there are couple way to ESTIMATE to value stocks and Dcf is 1 of them. So, dcf is proper just like couple others. But here is the KEY, they are just a math formula and the DATA, INPUT you plug into that formula is important. Meaning how Relative accurate is your input, the Growth element? Keep this in mind: Garbage in, Garbage out. your output, value could be way too high or too low. Goodluck

Just one doubt about your approach, which I think is highly interesting. You are assuming that each stock eventually falls below its intrinsic value. Can it not stay above for a long time, like Nvidia lately? Then according to your approach, though you buy the best stocks, you only will buy the weakest of the best. The same holds for quantity. While the weakest of the best may hit all 4 buy levels, the strongest may only hit one and you end up having a lot of them.
Intrinsic value of a stock changes over time as the company reports higher and higher earnings. That means there will always be opportunities in the stock market. You just have to be patient and keep looking
Hi Adam, as per your true value finder lesson, the discounted free cash flow will only be used when the operating cash flow is larger than 1.5x net income, but based on the value shown in yahoo finance, the operating cash flow is not larger than 1.5x net income, please advise. Besides, based on value shown in yahoo finance, the total debt (quarter) shall be 108,040 millions instead of 97,086 millions shown in this video, please advise. Furthermore, in the lesson, you highlight that the discount rate will be updated date to date to who purchase the course, but there is no way for me to get the relevant info, please advise.

Do nothing. These r great companies so just hold.
DCA when it has 1 more leg down. Never let all in in anything, always have cash for something like this happens. Buying good companies, invest long term, take some profit along, buy back when they drop, always have cash in hand will never cause you panic.

Hold and be patient. Stocks do not go up in a strictly linear fashion. Good stocks go up over time and you give them time when you don't panic sell.
