Is it on the horizon a video on the seasonal modifiers (active, passive etc) Would love a in depth guide on which are good for what builds and which aren't
Just sifting through all the info (thank you btw). General use pve mg5 or mk46 solo killer or measured group play (example Countdown), OD solo Carnage, rpk or mk46 for flatline. Does that sound about right-ish? Also, what’re your thoughts on running the CHC modifier vs the 9.5 chc minor, I understand when not using modifiers to use chc minor attribute. Also, besides a pesti build what other times would damage to armor serve you better as a minor? Also referencing buddy’s comment below me saying dmg to armor is king Edit, I also liked the idea of just entering a room and dumping your load and swapping to your main, I have to re-watch to find your overall pick for that scenario
Good review, but I'm afraid you're wrong with crit chance for LMG attribute, you want damage to armor there instead. You can always swap another crit damage for crit chance to reach 50% , but DTA is a really needed (extra) multiplier that you only can get there and from contractor gloves. Both highly recommended, but at least one of them is a must
@@dh1380 I've seen that before, the thing is, damage to health applies only after you depleted the enemy armor, which is a fraction of second until he dies (useless I would say). And while you have lot of ways to add crit chance, which also is capped to 60%, you don't have many slots to add damage to armor, that's the point
the mistake you are making here is not considering amounts at all, is a less filled in or completely fresh multiplier preferred if the same amounts, offcourse. but dta 6% adds less than that 9.5% chc third stat to a general striker setup, especially when considering that dta is not always active, all those heavies and warhounds and minitanks do not benefit from dta. because even more so than dta, rof is the actual second choice as it also applies to everything, even at 5 rof vs the 6 dta, even when it is additive to rof from striker here. as dta should not be considered at 100% for comparisons, that is just not what you will actually see in game, as even elites are around 20% health, and purples around 45% health. at the end of the day the kind of stat it is does not matter, it is what is the highest addition of damage generally for that slot and chc is that for lmg third stat. rate of fire or dth would be the only others that would be competitive for red build in certain situations, dta only should be considered if it is used for a talent or skill it applies to, like a pesti setup that is not about chc/chd, like the triple tick build.
@@ikia Thank you for the reply. I though of the amount and the way damage apply, but what I didn't know is that DTA does not apply to heavies, minitanks and that kind of units. That sucks, white bars were armor for me, until now! And do change my calcs, specially for difficult missions (legendaries and the like). About critical chance and damage, the thing is that you need both, but I hear you about the amounts. I will perform more field tests!
thanks for this!
Looking forward to upcoming videos! Thank IKia! This one was lovely!!!
You are to awesome for doing these videos. Thanks Ikia for all you do.
I appreciate the info. Spreadsheets are great.
Can't wait to see the Pestilence build.
Great video, great channel. 👌

Not going anywhere for a while? They've probably got an LMG on you... Suppression isn't a bug it's a feature!

Damage to health OR crit chance
