2003 5.4 Ford Expedition oil change

This is a 2 valve 5.4 and not a 3 valve.

Our 2004 has 242K just had the transmission rebuilt, it has been very reliable, The engine still runs smooth as it did the day it came from the factory

Ours is great too. I purposely looked for a 03-04 expedition for the 2 valve 5.4, it’s a great vehicle.

Great video. My 03 has 317,000. Still runs strong! Im gonna try and get at least 500,000 miles out of it!

The only thing I don’t like about it is the gas mileage

Its much easier to take the air filter off and access the oil filter from the engine bay rather than under the vehicle.

I only do as hand tight as I can. You can get a wrench up there but I’ve found it’s not really worth it.

Yeah but it has the rubber grip on it. Anything else is a lot more difficult to get on up there.
